Hi all
Yeah, I know Perham Down mate I was down in Bulford from '95 to '99. These day's I generally stop by Tidworth to visit a mate of mine, as I spend a lot of time down Andover way on business
-
Hi all
Are you actually in Andover mate or around the Bulford/Tidworth area?
-
How can identify the year of my engine?
That's assuming of course that it was all the same engine in the first place?
-
Interesting looking car....
I reckon you're right there mate

Hi all
Yeah, you'd both best leave it until you get back mate....you won't need zed's where you're going

Hi all
As above really mate, and welcome If you buy off a member you're giving youself a good start, I would suggest that giving 'Gonzo12c' a shout would be a good place to start as he actually owns 50% of the zeds currently in the UK! but take your time and don't let your heart rule your head as you'll most likely regret it, however there are some really nice examples for sale at the moment and by buying off a forum member you'ld be giving yourself a better chance of getting one with minimal nasty surprises and in some cases (as I found out) you may get some nice surprises as well Ebay sales always come up for debate on here so I would be very careful as some have a hidden past good luck mate and I hope you enjoy the experience oh yeah, SWB (slicktop or targa) twin turbo manual, that's what you want

Interesting looking car....
I just got a reply from Simon at SR Motorsport, he's looking for around £11k for it, spec dependent, I think it's worth every penny personally though I'm sure most will disagree (£2500 tops etc) it's only 1 of 4/5 in the UK and the only widebody model outside of Japan by all accounts SR20DET was from the old Skyline R31 I believe? I think the fact that it's so rare is why it 'should' be worth a lot more than our Z32's I'd love to own that
-
Interesting looking car....
Now why can't I do that? *boss is en-route mate*
-
Turbo spec?
There's some mad genetically modified kamikaze sheep down his neck of the woods....I swear the fookers' wait for you to get close and then run straight at you so monster brakes are definately needed then again with those turbo's he'll be sucking cattle into the intake from 100yds away!
-
Turbo spec?
Stock brakes should be fine then? :whistling:

Interesting looking car....
I can't seem to 'cut and paste' the link across from Driftworks??? but if you search: 'Have you got money want a classic Jap turbo then look at this' This is a really interesting motor, to me it looks like a cross between a Z31 and a Z32 but apparently it's a: Nissan 200ZR (runs an RB20DET)

Same ^^^^ I bought 'the last edition' ????? about 3-4 months ago (I only bought it for the nostalgia factor as in my opinion it had turned into a big pile of dog turd over the last few years) I know Redline shut up shop recently aswell

Just Ordered from Z Performance
I remember you saying they're a family run business and I agree they are very good to deal with Back in 2009 I was in Florida and I figured I'd order some zed parts and save on shipping etc I phoned them up and they were so genuinely nice it actually took me a second or two to gather myself, it went something like "Hello good morning, thiiiiis' is Concept zee how may I help you today?" very nice people and very helpful, they delivered the parts to my hotel within 48 hours

GTR and Z32 transmission parts
Ok the more I look into this, the more it seems that certain aspects are compatable there are guys in the US who are saying that they are running Z32 NA clutch/flywheels on their RB series trans RB26/25 and 20 The Z32 clutch is 'push' not 'pull' is that correct?

GTR and Z32 transmission parts
Would somebody take a look at this link and tell me what they think I'm looking at secondhand clutch options here, and if this works I can get a full triple plate for less than Exedy quoted today for replacement plates http://forums.nicoclub.com/gtr-z32-transmission-comparison-t280171.html ie. RB26 OS Giken triple plate onto a Z32 TT and want to know exactly what the issues would be, I lost track reading the thread above?
