  1. Wouldn't it be better to send it all to PZ "as is" to check and decide what to use or replace?
  2. Are you not sending all this engine stuff to PZ to work on?
  3. Whereabouts under the passenger wing? Photo would help with indentification
  4. Many thanks for your kind words - very much appreciated!
  5. Progress at last! The other video EPR posted on YT looks (and sounds) even better.
  6. Those look nice Andy. Are Infinity making the full system or just the "cat back" in 2.5" or 3" pipework? Any other silencing/ noise management apart from the back boxes?
  7. Well done on getting another UK spec (and a blue one a that) back on the road. Looking forward to pictures of the car. On the count it is pretty much the same as I posted above (plus one more now!) I'll update the record I have for you car when MOT'd.
  8. These are the pages from the '96 FSM for the Electric HICAS. It is likely that just the Actuator was removed (to fit the lock out bar) leaving the rest of the system intact. ST 38-81.pdf An example of the Actutator: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Turbo-Rear-Hicas-Active-Power-Steering-Rack-Gear-Box-Z32-5570540P00-/232556594661
  9. Japanese aftermarket ECUs tend to be mapped for the higher octane fuel that is available in Japan (~100 ron) and are usually more agressive in the fueling and timings as a result. This can cause issues with detonation when the using lower grades of fuel in the UK. It all depends on the mapping Impul did.
  10. J: M462 Two button self coding fob for M999T alarm system: Parts that look like this for the M999T system: https://www.executiveautocare.co.uk/vehicle-security.htm (scroll down to M999T) Fitting instructions (pics in the post) https://www.alfaowner.com/threads/gtv-spider-alarm-immobiliser-meta-m999t-circuit-info.362051/
  11. Link dosen't work. Any of these? https://www.abacuscaralarms.co.uk/remote_fobs/meta-fobs.html
  12. Can you post up a picture of the Meta fob? Could help to narrow down the model installed (and what the parts looks like).
  13. Not necessarily, depends on the build history of the car. The part# in the photo shows 23710-48P76. This comes up as an ECU for a JDM 1993/09 - 1994/10 TT Auto. http://www.jp-carparts.com/nissan/part_detail.php?maker=nissan&type=132&cartype=14&fig=226&part=2371048P76&page=1&img=226A 001 If you take the upper lid off the ECU (4 screws) you can see if the EPROM is soldered into the PCB which would indicate the factory EPROM (and MAP) is still in place. If the EPROM is socketed (ie removable) it would indicate an aftermarket EPROM (and MAP) is likely to be present.
  14. What a lovely Z you (and PZ) are creating Andy. Got my 50p ready for a ride! When do you hope to get her back home?
  15. Very meaty! You going to stick with the "Infinity" logos?
  16. Best wishes on your Birthday Marty!
  17. Great to see some project photos Andy, looking good.
  18. To some, one of the most annoying 'features' of the Z32 is the extra wipe when turning off the windscreen wipers. Here is a solution published on TT.net. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2645417/New-video-for-the-weekend.html Details here on how to safely open up the wiper control module located on the RH (OS) inner wing near the firewall. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2645450/It-works-fantastic-Thank-you-for-sorting-this-out.html
  19. Just think how much simpler it will be when it's just a couple of electric motors at each end of the car.
  20. You can pick up other well known design elements from Italian designed cars that predated the AP-X. Subaru SVX split door windows. Diagonal slash rear wheel arch.
  21. It's not a VG30DETT engine as it's referred to a "a new compact and superlightweight V6 engine" in another article. The chassis however is based on a Z32.

  23. True, but did you look at the OP's first post?
