  1. No, during 24th Dec storm. We are on high ground! There was just so much water coming of the airfield and Kenley common which are a few metres higher.
  2. Yes she was/is. Only got to about 1/2" depth. Most of the important stuff was off the floor. Carpets (yes I know) have been chucked out. Concrete floor now has a thin layer of brown silt. All dried out now. For that night Kenley Airfield (we are close to it) got 53.6mm of rain. Forecasters have another big Atlantic storm for Saturday... Happy days!
  3. It loads for me from that link. What error are you getting?
  4. Miserable? I'd put it *a lot* stronger than that! My garage/workshop got flooded out during 24th Dec storm. No lasting damage fortunately. Not like those poor folks down your way.
  5. Here is the simple explanation on the VC LSD from the book "300ZX Enthusiast's Companion": 300ZX enthusiast p43_44.pdf
  6. Diagnostic procedure 6 in the FSM: br-47.pdf
  7. Have you followed the diagnostic procedure 6 in the FSM?
  8. Oh, a late spec UK car! Not that many about...
  9. Assuming you are keeping the stock calipers then: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=8999&Car_Type=300&UID=2014020514063386.173.214.88
  10. Yes, connect the speaker outputs (left and right channel) from your amp/head unit to each crossover connections marked "input". The output connections as you have described.
  11. In line crossovers, so just run full range in and bass and tweeter outs.
  12. Very unforgiving are those Bomex (fiberglass) front bumpers to grounding.
  13. 21" x 2 front and 19" rear. Using Bosch supplied by Euro Car Parts (£11.28 all in at this time).
  14. Yes, Z1 are also listing the original "red" flywheel (which I have). SZ also make a modification to the friction disk. You would need to check with Z1 if they do/have the same.
  15. Well I'm using the RPS setup (now Specialtyz): http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-sport-street-for-vg30dett-and-vq35s-242.html http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-flywheel-vg30de-tt.html Smooth take up, heavier pedal feel than stock, but not so much as to be tiring. Flywheel has rebuildable facing.
  16. What criteria? Performance, Feel, Longevity, Purchase cost, Maintenance costs etc.
  17. Not in my book...
  18. Something like this perhaps?
  19. So why are you selling her?
  20. The part number is 62228-51S00. Try Mike @ MJP for UK supplier. Also available from: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=5148&Car_Type=NIS300&UID=2014012305054886.162.24.221
  21. Was the cambelt change a 60K or 120K service? Normally idlers would be changed out at 120K, unless there was signs of wear. Your invoice from Zedworld should say what was supplied/changed.
  22. Alernatively, when he says "headlight panel" it could be this: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=2203&Car_Type=NIS300&UID=201401151103582.27.216.120
  23. Whilst you are sorting this out, can you not cover the cabin outside with a plastic sheet and tied/clipped to say the wheels?
  24. Why do you think Nissan let her down? At the time all Japanese manufacturers adhered to the "gentleman's agreement" of not going above 280bhp domestic and around 300bhp export.
  25. Assuming we are talking about stock brakes and lines, then both front and rear calipers have short hard lines between the caliper and the flexible line. The connections of the flexible lines being female and therefore a replacement flexible line also having female connections. Library photos:
