  1. Cheers mate, I was thinking it was the diet coke sensor..... :-)
  2. I think he means getting rid of the front wing repeaters, and replacing them with bulbs in the rear side markers (would have to be a clear lense and orange bulb tho)...
  3. Mine is an old one, got a spoiler on now and finish the black stripes around the bodywork, but I'll get a fresh one :-)
  4. JeffTT, where art thou? :-) I'm pretty sure it's redundant, just curious as to know where it is from, or where it 'would' go, or, where it 'should' go!.....
  5. no mate, everything is plugged in, O2s, dett, VVT, turbo solenoids etc. it's just left there floating about, and it's a kind of plug that I have only ever seen used for the turbo solenoids, it wouldn't fit anything other than them in the engine bay...
  6. I have yes, but only just when removing the plenum, it's definately not for the egr or aiv solenoids, very different connector, but there just isn't anywhere for it to go, the only 2 plugs like that are normally the turbo solenoids, which are correct and in place, rather strange mate... Runs fine and no error codes on conzult?
  7. no mate, everything is accounted for, except for this! It's never been plugged in as there is no where for it to go, and no error codes?
  8. I fitted a brand new loom a while back, and was left with this plug, only remembered about it as I have just had the plenum off. It looks the same plug as the boost solenoids, but it isn't one of them, I have 3 of these, it is located behind the plenum, right in the middle where the dett. sensor etc. go... It's an american LHD loom, perhaps it's for something I don't have? Cheers...
  9. you can just cut them off, tape em up and shove the wires up into the hole they come out of matey...
  10. I'm gonna out-bid you, because I just did a sex wee... :tt2:
  11. My mate has one of these, but has come from a punto GT, i.e. a single turbo set-up, can you buy the solenoids/loom etc. to get it to a dual set-up, or is it a different unit alltogether? Cheers, Tudor...
  12. and the tension on the belt is healthy....
  13. I had a problem during the coldest nights of the winter, car was garaged, but would run it every few days to warm her up etc. But one day I went to it, started her, and the fan belt squeeled it's nuts off then snapped, from the friction burning through it... Anyways, at the time, I presumed the water pump had frozen, fitted a new belt, and now squeels everytime I start her for about 30 seconds, then the viscous fan eventually kicks in. I thought maybe a bit of talc on the belt as I might have had grubby/oily hands when I fitted the belt, or could it have been the viscous fan all along? Do they fail like that? Cheers guys (and gals ;-)
  14. I tried temp cover once, they wont insure anything group 18 or over... Best bet is your current insurer, just tell em once you've got it home you'll be lining their pockets with more money to insure it fully....
  15. Me too, all added, here's the proper link : https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=708486889

  18. how did you fasten the bumper?
  19. How much are the lighters???
  20. I wonder if JefTT would so kind (he probably already has) as to post a picture of the ideal readings? I have conzult and will be doing a good check up soon...
  21. Yellow, I am bias, but I lurrv it....
  22. You might need to give it a run too, build up some oil pressure and get it flowing...
  23. I was just thinking whether the timing should be at 25 degrees instead of 15, depends on the neutral switch, another one for JeffTT!!! And 95 degrees temp on one pic, crikey, that is hot!
