sounds like something on the cold start system sticking if the car slows down after 15 mins of driving. If it maxs at 140 you do have a problem for definate. Paul

bide your time, get in front then slow down to 40 :D Paul
  3. Why  just tell them to f*** off the more you encourage them the longer they will hang around :(
  4. What do you mean Yeah, Yeah, Yadda Yadda. you fool? Your the one coming to other forums to preach about how fantastic your cars are. I could go and trawl the web and come back with some of the 300's running insane times with massive power and believe me there are lots in the USA, but i wont because your opinion is not important enough and I dont feel the need to go loitering around other forums with the "my dads bigger than your dad attitude". Maybee im not as insecure about my car as you are. I dont really care about your mates car could do this and that etc. If you want an interested audience for that rubbish try McDonalds carpark.

I explained it all here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25306 :D
  6. actually no. 1/4 times are more to do with traction and driver experience. A rolling start say in 2nd gear on a straight dual carrigeway will always prove who has the fastest car.
  7. and with looks to rival the elephant man only an odball could love them :D
  8. When you see a scooby up in front do you both stop in the middle of the road side by side then lash it to 60 and stamp on the brakes....erm NO. A car that pulls hard between 40 and 140 will always win the day out on the road. Every single car on here will most likely give you different times each time you measure it, and I doubt any make of car will give you exactly the same figure as it says in the back of 'Top Gear' 0-60 is Max Power talk, total crap.
  9. There wouldnt be so many fat lazy little brats if they got off their arses and walked to school and learned how to kick a ball around instead of sitting behind a playstation all night.
  10. Yeah but those girls can be just as easily pulled with a bag of sweets or the promise to see some puppies
  11. Oh man I really miss those wazza vids, the man was better than Speilberg bwahahahah
  12. Fine upstanding pillars of the community. Good sense, flair and style which increases the further North you get. :D:rofl:
  13. With the usual argument on the GTO forum about Zeds and GTO's isnt it interesting how paterns emerge about the various clubs of jap car owners. Here's my observations, Whats yours? Skyline boys Sound lads, helpfull and never bother anyone, have nothing to prove, drive the best and its proved at TOTB every year when all the others are put in there place. Supra boys (not Roy cos he had a Z ;) ) Drive a car with a fantastic engine but are blind to its uglyness. Do tend to have a bit of a chip on their shoulders about the skyline so often feel the need to go around the other forums to tell us how their cars are so much faster, expensive and exclusive than anything else. GTO boys A good car, faster than some people think however the owners can get a bit defensive as deep down they know that it is the oddball of the pack. 200sx and GTiR boys Always freindly at the meets, not stuck up. Some real enthusiasts with very quick cars. Fantastic value for the money they cost. Scooby and EVO boys Owners tend to be a bit more 'Max Power' types, not that comparable to 300's, supras etc as they are a pure bred rally car but have a XR3i image. Soarer boys aka Mycroft Bad news :D
  14. sounds like a vaccum leak to me. I would check the pipework around the boost jet install. If your boost is going too high check the jets are not blocked with anything. There is a tech item on TT net with the correct method of fitting boost jets.

Dianna wasnt the most tasty of women but I wouldnt climb over her to get to Camilla Parker Bowes thats for sure. :D and come to think of it that Will Carling must have been out of his mind to bin off Julia Carling and go sniffing around Di.
  16. True the Z is a beautiful car stock but im changing mine because stock gets boring after a while and starts to look very plain when you park a stocker next to something like Chrisc's. After 4 years im sick of the plain sensible look and want something a little more 'in ya face' :D Paul

Seen one of the new wings west bumpers in urathene at PPS and it looks very nice, its not that different from the ultimate looking bumper (greddy) :D so its worth a thinking about. You have to go with what looks best to you, It would be mad to buy a bumper that isnt your favorite just because of what it is made of on the off chance your going to damage it. I would rather repair scrapes on my greddy every 6 months rather than have to drive it round with any other bumper on. You tell em Chris ;) Paul
  18. In all my years on here I have never heard such TOTAL AND UTTER S**T BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Ajay tell the man he is a fool and should not be trusted with a car on a dyno LOL :D Paul
  19. Its all too commercial now. It was traditional and fun when I was a lad. I can still remember the glint in my eye as I clutched onto my pocket money waiting for the ice-cream van to come so I could buy single bangers with matches. Bangers in milk bottles, Bangers in dog turds thats what it was all about, good old fashioned fun. None of your fancy air bombs and rockets..oh no! Paul

How has such an old thread been found? Has someone been searching for "Gay" LOL :D Paul
  21. Probably the release bearing (which you do get with a clutch kit). It isnt unusual for a bit of whirring from them and wont do any harm, it could stay like that for another 20k and not get any worse. Not worth changing unless your clutch is gone as well. Paul
  22. My first car was insured in mum's name with any driver. That was long ago before they closed all the loopholes lol Paul
  23. I have had a similar thing from e-bay, it looks very official but it asks you for your credit card details which e-bay never do. So beware Paul
  24. Well come on then idle lad get some cash spent and lets see that green machine back on the road :D Paul
