So where is this weight reduction going to come from? It would be great to loose loads of excess baggage but I wouldnt be prepared to loose ABS, leccy windows,power steering or any other luxury item, nor would I want to drive in something with an interior that looks like you have been parked in the middle of a bonfire and all of the above would have to go if you were serious about racing and if your not going to loose all of that stuff then sticking a couple of carbon fibre panels on isnt going to make any noticeable difference. Speaking to a couple of lads who are right into drag racing with the yank V8's they say you will have to shed quite a bit of weight on a road car to make it really worthwhile and you will be a bit dissapointed if you are expecting a big kick in the pants of extra acceleration. So if all you want to do is a few RWYB's at the pod then you have to seriously decide if its worth the bother.

It shouldnt have seized unless its been standing outside in the rain with no sparkplugs in LOL. squirt a little oil in the plug holes and turn the engine over a few times with a spanner. Remember to check/replace hoses and jubilee clips as some may have gone hard or perished and you cant get to some of them very well when the engines in the car. Paul

Like all footy fans whenever it comes to a big international competition I build up my hopes and convince myself that we stand a chance only to see them fall apart when up against any half decent side. You only have to watch the old England vids with Lineker, Gazza, Beardsley, Pearce, Waddle, Robson etc and its easy to see whats missing, a bit of fight and the will to win. When was the last time you seen someone like Pearce screaming his head off commanding the back line and running the show in the middle of the field? you dont!! theres too many pasty faced young kids with their fingers stuck up their a***s playing today. The press should also butt out as well, all they want is sensational headlines, they want to build people up just to knock them down. The press hounded Shearer out of that team claiming he was finished 4 years ago despite the fact he continues to score more goals than Fowler, Owen, Heskey or any other English striker year after year after year. The press were the ones to appoint Heskey as Owens partner now they are relishing in destroying the bloke. Individually we have some very good players with Scholes, Beckham, owen and the rest but it just doesnt show when it comes to the crunch. When im England manager it will all be sorted so dont worry, theres still hope. Paul
