Walkin through Newcastle today after the match and noticed another new 'NO CAR' lane right in a really busy spot that i sometimes use, loads of cars stuck bumper to bumper while this lane stood empty. These b*****ds have no right to stop people using existing roads that have been paid for over and over again by the motorist. Also in some places they block pave some sections of road and remove the kerb stones so stupid dithering t***s wander around on them daydreaming with their push chairs and bags of shopping, even though it is still a road. Run the B*****s over thats what i say!!!! Roads for cars Pavements for pedestrians too many stinkin tree huggers in this country, why anyone should listen to them i dont know. The scruffy b*****ds are less likely to pay any taxes and contribute bog all to society... shoot em all. Rant over..

are you sure it is definatley UK spec. Possibly it has been fitted with a jap spec ECU which still has the limiter in place. It does sound like the speed limiter to me Paul

boost upgrade with stock ecu........slightly dodgy in some cases boost upgrade with chipped ECU.........good boost controller with chipped ECU.......better. get a chip from chrisC, check with an aftermarket gauge to make sure you are getting 1 bar boost from your boost upgrade, if your not he has the jet sizes that you need, check your timing is 15 degrees (standard) as it may have been retarded during the boost upgrade. Run this for a while and see what you think, when you have the spare cash then get yourself a controller which will give you loads of fancy features to play with like how harsh the boost comes in, setting different levels of boost for different driving conditions etc etc. simple really ;) Paul

I have seen UK cars without leather. Dont let it put you off. if the cars good you can always get leather seats later. Paul

James the jets/controller only ups the boost, the chip adjusts the fueling/timing etc to compensate for the higher boost you need both to do it properly/safely. Contact ChrisC who has all of the different chips and has done loads of these. It is no secret rocket science to do just takes a steady hand with the soldering iron. You will save HUNDREDS of pounds believe me!!!

Well the truth of it is that scum breeds scum and because scum produce as many children as possible then it spreads like a cancer. Everyone plays a small part in the universe by the things they do however small but these people contribute ZERO to anything they only COST the rest of us, they would not be missed in any way by society if they were all shot tomorrow. The sooner our governments stop supplying these people with FREE houses, FREE food and FREE anything else they whinge about the better. There are people starving in other countries who would work 20 hours a day if they could have a house to live in and a hot meal each day but our scum feel it is their god given right. I cant go and order a Ferrari knowing i cant afford it and just insist that the social pays for it so why should the scumbags breed and live in decent homes and expect everyone else to pick up the bill. I think the cheaper ones are more prone to false alarms and have a smaller range of detection. I got the S5 from Bob and it works a treat. I know some people say they dont work but it beeps like f**k when i approach a camera so thats good enough for me. Strange thing is almost all the cameras in the North East are turned off but there is a lot more cameras active when you venture down south. Maybee were just better behaved up here ;) Paul

ive tried going down the road of just having just one sensible car and it doesnt work. You keep gettin annoyed when some saxo boy blasts past you and find yourself constantly looking on the auto trader website. You should be able to get yourself a quite respectable little diesel if your thinkin of spending around £1500 so i would go for that. Paul

Well you can do all the usual stuff to check your buying a good car but in the end I still believe a lot of it comes down to plain old LUCK...People can say avoid imports or 1990 models but mine has never failed in 3 years and has been the best and most pleasurable car I have owned. In fact someone wanted to swap me thier K plate UK car the other day cos he was so sick of it getting one fault after another. Needless to say my answer ended in "off" :D Paul
