  1. yes in reality the slightest nudge or anyone having the slightest bit fun taking the corners sideways and the fags with the flags will be waving like it was the jubilee or something, it wouldnt last 5 mins. It would definatly have to be on a grasstrack circuit or something even then there is still regulations regarding the cars that you have to meet. Unfortunatly the American style claims and compensation culture is killing this sort of thing off, its already having an effect on motorbike track days. Paul
  2. 2 quotes from a lad at work who is a bit dim.. We had 2 monitors connected to one PC for the cad package so you can spread a big drawing out across both screens. One lad asked "What would happen if you move the mouse pointer over the gap between the screen?" I told him the little arrow would fall out and land on the desk :D. Same bloke was on about buying a PC and knew nothing at all about them, when telling us what he wanted he pointed to the desktop unit sitting under the monitor and says " Im not really bothered about having the plinth I would rater spend the extra on a better screen" Paul
  3. exactly the same happened to me with some wa**er delivering pizza leaflets. If i had seen him it would have been his face imprinted in my drive not his feet  Paul
  4. If you want bang for buck then the sunny GTiR is a damn quick car for the cash. I could fancy buying an old scrapper to play with and abuse then dump when the MOT is out you can get a 2.8i Capri or V12 jag for next to nothing. We should all get one and book a trackday, it would be like a demolition derby :D :D Paul
  5. If they were Coventry City players then chances are you earn a lot more than them LOL I bet they were jealous :D Paul
  6. just shows you can be a fantastic craftsman but terrible designer or a great designer and poor craftsman your lucky if your both......like me ;) :D Paul
  7. You know that Z with the pug headlights and the supra rear lights? Well it appeared on TT net and guess what.... they hate it LOL http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1073922
  8. Turn the volume up and watch this :D Its not a Z its a mustang but it hits 1200hp and its well scary when the power kicks in. I dont think you would have pointed your camcorder up the exhaust pipe of this one Stu :D Paul Download 5meg
  9. Chris you missed your favorite option 5 Ladies knickers. - for when your mincing around in the privacy of your own home
  10. You also win a purple R33, long hair and the right to call yourself Senna
  11. only worth £7100 and 87% of people are purer than me. But i can live with that :D you would have to be a total do-gooder gayboy to get a pure soul on those questions LOL
  12. I might be one of the red ones you have seen parked up with a black one. But its not out next till spring now when it re-appears as a white wide arch monster :D Paul
  13. You cant start talkin about wheel trims, inducer diameters and flow graphs mac. Most people are only interested in words like Stage 1, stage 2 or hybrid :D :D Paul
  14. That turbo kit should come with a lot of parts as a fitting kit, so make sure it has all the stuff with them or you could have a load of problems. I remember a similar sale from somewhere abroad on e-bay not so long ago, maybee someone over here bought it and found there was too much to do to fit them Paul
  15. you should try running a real diesel they run on chip fat, kerosene, parrafin in fact any old sh*te you put in ......err so i was told anyway.
  16. I thought a techie like you would be recieving emails on your wristwatch or somethin :D:D Paul
  17. yes look at machine mart for a similar hp/speed motor in single phase to the one thats on the lift it will probably be quite a bit bigger in size than the 3 phase equivelent. Also you can ask the electricity board to wire you 3 phase into your garage (if thats where your wanting it) but what that costs i dont know.
  18. What im gonna do is modify the origional BOSE center speaker cover that goes there to clip over them when the cars parked up. Paul
  19. Updating the firmware of the drive seems to have done it but its still not keen on the really cheap disks but i can live with that. Can anyone reccomend some good software for stripping off the extras on DVDs to get the size down. I have been having a look at DVD shrink but it only lets you compress them and not remove them. Cheers Paul
  20. Just got a dual format +/- 4 speed burner. My problem is when I am ready to burn if I put a + disk in the speed settings default to maximum and the disk burns at 4 speed. But if i put a - disk in the speed setting goes to 1x and greys out so you cant change it. The burner is supposed to do both formats at 4x. I have tried a couple of different brands of disk and its no different, i am using nero 6.0.0.23 Cheers Paul
  21. Carefull...Mac gets angry when someone slags the stillen bumper off  Paul
  22. To be honest I dont think anyone over here has produced a Z of those sort of figures (yet ;) ) If you get someone over here to do it then they are only going to send away to the USA or Japan for the parts which is something you could do yourself, any engine machine shop should be able to bore your block to the pistons you choose and bolt on the goodies. The trouble with getting someone overseas to do it is your to far away to sort things out if it goes wrong as you already know. Good luck Paul
  23. The Greddy one is way out the best looking it may be only available in fibreglass but does give you a 10mph advantage over the slightly uglyer placky stillen one :D Paul
  24. Real shame as he was telling me a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to put it back on the road this spring but unfortunatly circumstances change. Hope you can still make it to some of the shows next year Tim. Paul
