  1. I'll have it please, how much to post it? Edit: Too slow!
  2. He's saying this is the point where you either do your own research or pay someone to do it for you. I had GT28 turbos converted to fit the VG. £999 and they're yours.
  3. Good churbos, 400+bhp on a 1809cc engine at 1.7 bar from one of them. If you're looking at a big single conversion, easiest way is to move the battery to the boot. Single turbo custom manifold, 3" v-band downpipe mated to a single exit exhaust, If you're looking at fitting twin T70s, you'd need a fully-forged & preferably stroked engine build, cams, 8k rev limit and all that that entails, nitrous should be a consideration, a MAF with higher airflow capabilities or a MAP-based standalone, chassis work to be able to fit the turbos if you're going for stockish location, custom T4 manifolds, 3" v-band downpipes, 3" fully separate exhaust system, twin external wastegates, 3" IC pipework. 5 figures if you're wanting a reliable 1000bhp (well, as reliable as a 3.25L 1000bhp engine can be). The stroker kit is £5.6k from Nengun. Either way, if you're planning on spending the money required to fit two of them, you'd be much better off with some Borg-Warner turbos IMO. Makes no sense fitting Chinese turbos to a £15k engine.
  4. 1) OEM. 2) OEM. 3) OEM. 4) 1M ohm resistor.
  5. Blow-Through MAF: Something I'm working on at present  What's needed: A slot-style MAF with accompanying 9th order polynomial function, a TIG welder, a soldering iron, an AFR gauge, a dyno, lots of mapping and lots of modification of ECU parameters to get it running spot-on. Can make it out in this comparison pic of the new HIDs fitted (it's not been hard-wired yet): I've also run a standard MAF in blow-through configuration, it required a lot of modification to the OEM VQ map.
  6. Yeah, big spoilers are just ridiculous.
  7. Disconnect & plug the vac feed to it. This will render the BOV inoperable. I would expect it will sound similar to your RS once the expelled air mass is no longer halved.
  8. Try running a single BOV on the Zed and see if that sounds the same.
  9. Tuning is easiest with the Nissan platforms, no need for a standalone ECU as the Z32 comes with a fully mappable one from the factory
  10. In stock form: 2JZ, then VG & 6G72, then 13B. In fully tuned form, the 2JZ is the strongest.
  11. Skyline was never officially imported into the States.
  12. Thanks, not seen that before. Pretty good, apart from
  13. The VG is a genuine race engine, strangled by metres & metres of intake piping, restrictive exhaust components and emission requirements. Detuned for the general public to try and meet the 280ps JDM gentleman's agreement. It's not voodoo, it's engineering.
  14. Common sense prevails  My posts in this thread pertain solely to your car and how it will be used. Glad it was obvious.
  15. HKS SSQV in recirc configuration is probably the best solution from a performance point of view if you must have them. I personally prefer none at all.
  16. I have a large collection of rad caps as I've had sealing issues with various cars in the past.
  17. Not spoken to him for a few weeks, but 99% sure he's at the same premises with his building business comprising the entire space.
  18. Coffins on wheels! I'll dig out a photo of a meet at Santa Pod.
  19. Yeah, but he is completely out of the car game as far as trading is concerned. I mapped his Zed on a Link G3, impressive car, one of the best I've worked with. The exhaust system is stunning.
  20. Yes, it is spot on.
  21. His tig guy did my intercooler work as well.
