Apologies to the forum.
Classy post Si, glad you're back. I've been known to let it rip from time to time and, even though I can fully justify my actions when it happens, in hindsight I know it would have been better to not bite.

Noisy injector
More of a ticking sound than that Alic. Not 100% sure Andrew as I'm no expert. I'll try and get a sound clip.

Noisy injector
Evening everyone I took the car out for a small drive the other day and noticed one of the injectors making a lot of noise. After about ten minutes is started to quieten down and another minute later it was silent. I've had a small amount of noise from injectors in my other 300 but this was very loud. Is it a sign there's a big problem coming my way, will fuel system cleaning additive help, will I need to replace the injectors? Any other input welcome. Cheers, Chris.

Project UK rewind
The first tricky job Jim had to sort out was the oil leak. The oil leak was from the passenger side turbo and looked lightly to be the oil feed as the top of the turbo was wet and the rear engine seal was also leaking. The top picture is an image from a borescope. The union is visible and very wet with oil.The rocker cover gasket was dry so Jim knew it was not coming down from any higher So after many MANY hours removing the gear box and turbo Jim was finally able to fix all oil leaks (near side turbo oil feed and engine rear mail seal). This was by far the most time consuming job, however this didn't turn out to be the most frustrating job...

Rust inside the rear arch & brake pipes.
Congratulations on becoming a dad. Just keep worrying, working and playing with your baby, time really does fly bye. As for your daughter I'm sure she'll be fine. This post is great by the way, top work! :cool3:

Project UK rewind
So after buying the car and bringing it home I thought it would be wise to get the car looked at and sort a few obvious jobs out. With the car only covering 16k mile in 16 years, having been parked up for some time and maintained without documentation I contacted Jimmer at PowerZed and booked a date to leave the car with him. The list included a full service, replace all belts pulleys and tensioner, fix the air con, sort out some rust around the suspension mounts, find and fix oil leak and give the car a health check. After arriving at Jims, having a good look round his workshop, a nice warm cup of tea and a walk around my 300 Jim plugged the car into his lap top. Straight away he noticed that an o2 sensor wasn't working. This was going to be the start of the problems...

property conveyancing
9 months from my offer being accepted to moving into our place, all held up by the old lady who's house we were buying. It was only a 3 person chain, our house sold in a week of going on the market and I brought this house in a blind bid, the old girl got moved into a nursing home. It was a right pain in the bum and I feel for anyone who's moving.

Max Power Feb 1998
I went to visit my Nan today and noticed she had a copy of MP sitting on the coffee table. Turns out my Gramps found it while clearing out my old bedroom, been 18 years since I last stayed there. Thank god he didn't find any of my other "reading" material. Anyway I've attached pictures of the article. Enjoy!!! If the owner of the car is on here I'd be happy to send you the mag. Edit (rotated the photos but the original ones are still there and I can't seem to delete them)

Let's see your tree!!!
Two great trees. I used to be into single colour decorated trees but since having kids that's gone out the window and they throw any odd tat on it. (Secretly I like it better now though )

Let's see your tree!!!
Lol. Via the chimney, I thought that's how you're meant to get into the front room over Christmas. (Downstairs is open plane so I can get into the front room via kitchen and dinning room  ) Where will Father Christmas leave your gifts if you haven't got a tree?

I thought it would be nice to post up pics of our trees. This is mine and my two boys Archie (3) and Benjamin (1) who helped decorate it.:santa::santa::santa: Bets on how long it takes the outlaws to burst in through the door and take the tree out? :2guns:
