  1. J-Spec is in mm/Hg whereas UK is in PSI.
  2. Next time borrow an air wrench :D . Only kidding mate. I may have one of these bolts in my garage. Do you know how long it is as mine are all in a pot. Also is it the one with the elongated head which is drilled & tapped to accept the middle cam cover bolt? Cheers - Dave.
  3. I'm stunned by how MANY people have been screwed for over hundreds of ££££s, looks like most of the UK population. How much money have these tw@ts made over the years, I wonder. Most of them charge us 15%+ when we borrow ffs. We're lucky to get 5% if we invest. The world is owned and run by the :xxx: s.
  4. Did anyone see the red 300ZX in a film today called "Good Burger" on Sky Movies 6? It did a few burnouts, powerslides and then finally crashed into another parked car, setting off it's airbag! the kids were engrossed in it anyway
  5. If ever I go overdrawn, I tell them that the automated paying in machine was out of order so therefore I couldn't deposit any money beforehand. They have always refunded the charges because they cannot prove otherwise. Robbing fookers I agree. I once asked for a temporary increase in my overdraft, to which they agreed, but 2 months later I found out that they'd increased the borrowing amount on my loan! I got charged £200 for being overdrawn so I decided to play merry hell with them. They refused a refund at first, but then agreed to review the recordings of my original phone call requesting the increase in overdraft. They finally refunded the £200 because they couldn't find the recordings  :xxx: I won't name the bank, but Hong Kong is a clue. Good luck, sounds like you'll get a lot back
  6. In 20 years time, retirement will have been abolished  .
  7. Mind you if it were a Zed, the brakes, horn, lights and seatbelts would probably fail at that point  . Can't complain though, I've only had to fix 4 faults this week LOL!
  8. You'll only get half of the maximum potential output power from the amp but no damage will be done to either the amp or speakers.
  9. I'll bet that was safely prowling the streets when Peter Sutcliffe was at large.
  10. Not sure what I'd do in a situation like that, I guess I'd stamp on the brakes in the hope that the guy towing me would check his mirror!
  11. http://www.asos.com/liftitispage/Prod/pgehtml.aspx?cid=2786 I hope she doesn't try to breast feed with those things on. 'Liftits' ffs  .
  12. If your amp is designed for 8 Ohms and you have two 16 Ohm speakers, you would need to wire them in parallel to get the impedance down to 8 Ohms. If your two speakers were 4 Ohms, then you could wire them in series to get the impedance up to 8 Ohms. This is assuming one channel (mono) of course!
  13. Most home amps are designed for 8 Ohm speakers but they will drive 4 Ohm loads. It will definately run hotter. I set up a system in work which drives three 8 Ohm speakers in parallel (6 Ohms) and those amps do cut out when we play music loud through them! I'm thinking of doing the same with an old 18" 400W speaker, but I've also got neighbours  .
  14. I wouldn't drive it until you find the problem tbh. Does sound like water dripping onto the exhaust manifold on that side as Chris said.
  15. That F40 is based on a TR7
  16. Funny, we were asking that same question earlier today. If you rigged up a CB mic to your mobile, would that make it legal
  17. Another fine example of ripoff Britain:- :xxx: :xxx:
  18. Why would they hate 300s
  19. Does this worsen under load? Does it get particularly worse when you increase the revs?
  20. And the sphincter valve.
  21. Just fix the old one, mine tried it on this year but ours was just full of dust. I just pulled it apart and cleaned all the gauzes etc. Flame nice and blue again now, bird happy (for a time. :D )
  22. Mine's a standard set up if you would prefer to make some comparisons before dismantling it? I'm near Bangor.
  23. One interesting fact is that it's the only post-70's car there! Had a few Z admirers in work and most of them earn 3-times as much as I do LOL!
  24. Cheerz guys, nice to hear from you both, all the best!
