Mine has been parked up for nearly two years. Apart from having to remove the brake discs to remove surface rust I didn't need to do anything else. Problems such as binding brakes are usually due to bad caliper piston seals letting water in etc. I'm sure I heard somewhere that it's good practice to jack the car up and put it on stands to save the springs, although I'm not sure how much truth there is in this?

I remember my bro going to buy a 280ZX in London years ago. On the way back and after about 250 miles he was threatened with a knife and ordered out of the car. One week later the plod found it abandoned back in London :rolleyes: . No damage was done and the copper "slim jim'ed" the lock. We broke the ignition barrel so it could be driven home. Fair play they do us a good turn sometimes. Glad you got it back but remember to connect it up to the mains before you put the cat out tonight :D
