property conveyancing
Agree enquiries and property reports take time, but as ours was a rental for 15 years so all of the correct paperwork was in place from day one, my buyer was selling a five year old property and his buyer was first time buyer, sure it could of been a lot quicker. Jeff

property conveyancing
As title, sold another one of our rental properties in England after we were approached by an agent suggesting the area had seen a 25% increase in prices, accepted a very quick offer end of July, and completed last Monday, that is almost 5 months !! the legals who are in charge of this process seem to work in in slow motion, very short chain of three, our property empty of course. The hassle and stress must be unbearable for those actually moving home, to us it was a business deal, so not sentiment just frustration as we had to fly back to deal with some bits and the last four weeks were repeatedly yes it is on for Friday to be followed a few hours later by no not this week !!! argh, booking flights last minute is always a bad idea. So I have asked the legals and my agent why ? and cannot get anything other than that is how it works ! seems to me the system in England needs some changes, I understand it is very different in Scotland, maybe bringing it in line would speed up the house market a bit more. Extremely annoying thingby in the roof. Also, number plates.
Disconnect the fan is one thing but do not disconnect the temp sensor or it will default to a high setting which will set the heater and air mix doors / flaps accordingly. Oiling the fan spindle bearing works sometimes as does adjusting the preloaded on the bearing with a small screwdriver. But not always, a quick fix is to jam the fan with a piece of card as the fan is a super low power induction unit that will not be effected in any way other than to stop making the noise. Jeff

Pie in the Skye
Was reading with interest till I got to the bit 》》 "Values of 300ZX especially UK spec examples are on the increase and appear to be following in the tracks of 240z and 280z models." Lost credibility at that point. Jeff

stormy night
The heavens have opened over the Algarve this evening and jeez the hell of all storms rampaged across the sky`s the months of awaited rain coming down in just a few hours is mental, thunder and lightning, power outages all over, reports of major flooding coming in thick and fast, lightning strikes seem to be hitting domestic house supply cables and blowing up tv`s routers etc. Bombeiros, GNR and rescue crews out in force, a good night to be inside for sure, we had a 2 hours power outage followed by a power surge that shook the villa killing the power, lucky all sensitive equipment pugged in through surge protectors !! gonna be a long night !! Knock sensor
For that reason alone is why others mention checking the connection plug, cable and in fact just check it is plugged in, we had many over the years come in and not plugged in !! the 1 ohm resister trick will take a couple of minutes to try and might just save you doing a whole lot of work if it reveals a cable issue. Many have also just fitted a new det sensor in a more accessible place and left the old one in, and although I doubt that the position is as good as the standard position, the det sensor function only works in a small rev range due to too much noise from the rest of the engine, a correctly set up engine running good fuel and correct boost level for the map fitted will never have a problem.
