  1. That's what I'd have thought too..... ….And welcome back WIllie; hope all's well mate!!
  2. Yup - they'll be just fine Lee!
  3. I like the look of these too - and even considered them myself at one point.... However they are not "handed" like the OEM wheels - and my OCD could not cope with the left and right sides being different in appearance. A bit like with the old XR3i and RS Turbo dog-leg alloys, back in the 80s.
  4. Hi and welcome to the club, Kris!!
  5. Exactly what Andrew says.....!! I learned a hard lesson last year, I bought a set of wheels which theoretically should have fitted. All the sizes and off-sets were in line with what me and many members had successfully installed on their Zeds before…. However as the spokes were dead flat, the front wheels still fouled the brake calipers; as in the first picture above. I ended up buying a replacement pair of front wheels - but was fortunate that (1) the wheel shop sold them to me at cost plus delivery in view of previous custom; and (2) I was able to sell the first pair on Ebay to mitigate the outlay further.
  6. I agree JP..... Oakview, please do keep an eye out for our NEC thread later in the year. If we get to exhibit once again, it would be really good to get a completely unmolested example on the stand
  7. A well deserved win indeed Andrew - you got my vote this year, as your Zed looks just amazing following its respray...…. There's something about an OEM+ TK3 UK spec that grabs my attention - and the paint finish on yours at the NEC just blew me away. Well done sir!! If you would please PM me your address, I'll post the trophy ASAP. Congratulations Andrew; the best car won IMHO....!!! Richard
  8. Hi folks, Not sure if you have seen this, but the link appeared on my 'phone this morning...

  10. Yup - Jimmer is indeed a star.... And well worth the trip, for anyone needing something doing to their 300zx...... Nice work Jim....
  11. Hello and welcome to the club....
  12. Hi and welcome to the club Michael…..
  13. I got caught in the rain.... It was nice and sunny this morning - not cold, so no nasty salt on the road; plus it has rained heavily the previous couple of days, so hopefully it had all been washed away. Hence I decided to take the Zed out for a little drive. My phone told me there was about 3% chance of rain...… But when I came out of Sainsburys an hour or so later, it was pissing down Nice and sunny when I got home though, so I might have to wash the Zed tomorrow....
  14. I grew up watching David Bellamy - and of course countless impressionists - on TV in the 1980s... And sadly he has now passed away. RIP David...
  15. PMSL..…. But if I'm honest, I'd probably not bother if it wasn't for Julia wanting a tree. I probably would do some kind of simple garland atop the fireplace though - if I could be arsed.....
  16. You're right, it doesn't..... I think mine is only 25mm lower on Meister Rs anyway; but a 300zx still sits fairly low on the OEM set-up..... Well it will, if the 25+ YO springs have sagged!
  17. Many happy returns Mr Burns - hope you have a great day mate! Richard
  18. Yup, Jimmer sorted mine last month.....!
  19. Hi Ian, Good to see you back online mate! Hope all's well with you sir.... Richard

  21. Hi folks, Another year has passed - so it's time for the final competition of 2019.... If you're a premium member and would like to put your car forward for the final vote, please register your interest in the above thread!!
  22. Wow - glad to hear you're unhurt mate!! Lee (Mondo) is breaking a SWB Zed - what's left of his car is on Ebay at the moment... But why not drop him a PM, he may sell you the glass separately. That is, if you don't take Phutumsch up on his offer
  23. How did I miss this - sorry Gaz.... A belated "Very Happy Birthday" sir; hope you had a lovely day mate.... Richard
  24. LOL at Gary.... But many happy returns for Sunday Jeff; hope you had a great day mate!! Richard
