  1. Yup - I agree with Arthur and Steve.... Hang on until early March, when the days are longer and people are thinking about buying a car to enjoy in the summer. You'll get more interest and definitely a better price!
  2. Happy birthday Jeff - have a good one!!๐ŸŽ‚
  3. Many happy returns Gary - hope you have a great day mate!!๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿป
  4. Happy birthday Tony - have a great day mate!!
  5. Welcome back Dave - and good work folks....๐Ÿคฉ
  6. Looking good Chris!!
  7. Hi and welcome Mash - and that's a fine looking Zed you have mate!
  8. LOL - but yup, what he said.....๐Ÿ˜
  9. Thanks everyone - and getting back on topic, this thread was started to thank those people who stepped up and helped make the show a success. And a success it was, as always we had plenty of footfall over the three days - from people coming to admire the cars and chat, to folks who once owned a Z32 when they were new who came to reminisce..... And some potential new members, who have recently acquired a 300zx and may need some help in the future My favourite was the man who's dad worked for Nissan in the early 1990s, and he brought two Z32s home to show his [then] young son. One being a base spec white TT manual, and the other a range-topping fully-spec'ed red TT auto with full leather et al.... Pretty much the image of Jason's car. He was clearly moved at the sight of it!! But I have left my biggest thank you to the last - thank you all for buying your tickets with the club discount. Our final numbers are in, and we managed a record [for us] 72 sales!!! 72 - versus just 4 last year - nice one folks, the organisers are very pleased with this, so hopefully it will go down well, when I apply for a stand next year.... So we're now done for NEC 2025, it came and went pretty quickly but we had a great time as always. Thank you one last time - and here's to NEC 2026๐Ÿคฉ
  10. ...Not to mention, the Supra and MR2 clubs had more people actively manning their stands - we had between 2 and 3 at any one time, plus wives. Spend a couple of days or more and you'll see different traffic on different days at different times. Same year in year out since 2014๐Ÿ˜‰
  11. Yup - you get until noon on the Monday to clear the stand.... So technically, you can leave everything in place on Sunday night. However that means an extra night's accommodation cost, hence most people pack up and go on Sunday - not to mention most people work on Mondays๐Ÿ˜‰
  12. Yup - I have to concur.... During my time on Friday and Sunday I was pretty busy chatting to visitors. And being right next to the MR2 stand, I could see we were pretty much as well attended as they were.
  13. Today, I departed the NEC and drove home in the rain..... Shame the Zed is no longer as shiny as it was when I left๐Ÿซฃ
  14. The show is over for another year, so on behalf of the club I would like to thank the following members..... Jason (Pastor Jay) and Jen - for bringing their Zed along to display and staying for the duration to man the stand Lee (JaiKai) - for coming all the way down from Scotland on Friday to help man the stand on Friday & Saturday Craig - for coming along on Saturday to help man the stand IanL - for coming along to man the stand on Saturday and Sunday Tony (Bones28) for coming along to help man the stand on Sunday Thank you very much folks, without you we would not have been able to do it - as always, your help is very much appreciated! Here's to next year......๐Ÿ‘
  15. And then almost everyone had departed, as it was all over - I left my car in the halls overnight and drove home this morning......
  16. And @Craig - someone bought that Ultima on Sunday.... Wasn't me though LOL!! These are just my phone pics, there will be more when I upload from the camera.
  17. And some highlights from the rest of the show.
  18. A few more pics of our stand...... ....It looked much better once the stands either side of us were filled!
  19. A sad loss indeed to motoring journalism - RIP Sir.
  20. Safe journey Lee....! Call me when you arrive, rather than message, as I may not hear it with the noise in the NEC๐Ÿ˜‰
  21. This year, we have two cars on display - mine and Jason's (PastorJay). We're going back to basics again, just the cars and some banners - but at least we made it; and we'll definitely make the most of the show. The organisers are also very pleased with us, as we managed to sell 49 tickets using our club discount code, our best year yet by miles! So thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, we're in hall 3, stand 3-050, between the MR2 owners club and the Classic Zed Register. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend.... But for now, some taster pics๐Ÿ˜‰
  22. I loaded mine up ready for the NEC tomorrow...... Banners on board - thanks to Tom and Ian for their help in getting them over to me yesterday Snacks to keep us going - for a few hours at least LOL Cleaning materials, to give the Zed a wipe down on arrival - and keep it shiny.... Fingers crossed it stays dry on the drive up! Chairs to take the weight off our feet when we get the chance. If anyone is coming along, we are in hall 3, stand 3-050 - on the back wall next to the Classic Zed register and MR2 owners club. Look forward to seeing you there๐Ÿคฉ
  23. See you Friday Lee - looking forward to it...!!
