Some scrote wanted to knife me
Bloody hell mate!! That's not something I'd expect in Worthing....... Thing is, nowadays is it worth confronting anyone like that. There are so many stories about "have a go" heros getting knifed; or worse. I'm glad you are OK though! Richard:cool3:

The Great Air-Con Debate...
I'm with you Bri..... ......it's part and parcel of a top line GT car. In fact nearly every car comes with a/c nowadays so why be without it? I wouldn't buy any car now that didn't have a/c....... Richard:cool3:

Might have to get the Z taxed a month earlier!
Do it Si..... .....Whilst mine is not a daily drive either, I still tax it fot the whole year just in case I fancy a drive on a nice dry and sunny winter's day.... Richard:whistling:

spark plugs nology silver
Personally no! I'd stick with the OEM NGK platinum items; as Quavey says, they are not much more expensive. Plus you are also in no doubt that they are the right ones for your car! Richard:thumbup1:

new zeds??
That's right - I think they started in the higher '30s but Nissan reduced the price towards the end of their UK sales run to below the £35k mark. At the launch of the Mk4 Supra in Oct 1993, the 300zx was listed in WhatCar magazine at £33,230. The Soop was £37,500, Mitsi 3000gt £38,329 and Porsche 968 came in at £36,722. Considering the 300zx's equipment it represented very good value compared to the rivals - Porsche wanted a further £1932 for a/c; £492 for cruise; £1137 for a stereo and £2066 for leather. All of which were standard on the Japanses cars!! Richard:smartass:

Hi newbie just bought a very ratty 300zx
And not just annoying - it needs fixing!! There are sensors in the steering wheel boss for the HICAS rear wheel steering. If the 'wheel is not straight it can affect handling on a twisty road; as the rear wheels won't steer as they should!! A proper 4 wheel allignment will fix it - just make sure that the operative gets the steering wheel dead centre when straight ahead.... Richard:yes:

Flashing dash warning light
They're both import dashes mate!! Both have the speedo in km/h and neither has the headlamp washer button on the headlamp switch..... ......the purpose of the 2 pic is so that you can see the lower bank of lights underneath the main dash. I think Daz is right about the different series cars though; as one has the later (series 2) a/c control. Richard:cool2:
