  1. I'm with you mate! And Baz - anymore pics like that on a respectable form and I'll have to take action.........:ban: Richard:tt2::tt2:
  2. A timely reminder there Allan..... .....and if you don't - it gives those of us who remembered a better chance of winning!! Richard:cool2:
  3. Sorry to hear that Alan - but I'm glad you are OK! if it had come through the windscreen at 50mph it could have been a lot worse!! I hop eyou get it sorted easily mate. Richard
  4. I look forward to seeing the results there mate..... .....IIRC you can buy a dash panel that is already adapted for the double DIN unit. I think Si and Legrath both have them! Still, I reckon it's more satisfying to see the results of your own work - good luck with it! Richard:cool3:
  5. Welcome to the club Carlos! Nice S13 you have there - and I too loved Portugal when I visited some years back......!! Richard:yes:
  6. Most other car forums do seem to be - especially compared to this place! I asked a question on the Mercedes forum the other day and no-one can be bothered to reply. Not even to post a comment like "take it to a garage!!" I reckon it shows just how good this forum is......:whistling: Richard:cool3:
  7. Me too Allan - my neighbour had a Nissan Navara in black with all the extras. That was stunning and I could happily have one of those. If only Julia would drive something that size......... ......and contribute towards buying it!!!:pinch: Richard:turned:
  8. I thought I'd killed mine this afternoon.... .....I was fitting a new head unit and had the ignition on whilst I was testing/programming it etc. It wasn't until after an hour that I realized I'd knocked both heated seats on; so when I went to put the car in the garage guess what...? Luckily Julia arrived home soon after so I was able to get the jump leads out. I've just taken it for a nice little run and all is back to normal, thankfully! Just give yours a charge mate - hopefully it will hold it and you won't need to shell out for a new one. Richard:cool3:
  9. Thanks mate! It sure is a nice Z - it's a real credit to PhilP and how he looked after it! I just need to drive it a bit more now.... Hopefully we'll meet up soon enough! Richard:cool3:
  10. Cheers Andy! I'm not sure I can make tomorrow but I will try! Sure is Phil; now the weather is improving I should get to use it a bit more. I love driving it and I reckon I'll be taking it up to The Peak District in a couple of weeks...... Thanks Jeff - and thanks for sorting the fuel tank on Thursday! And the owner of my local garage (who did the MOT) has offered to underseal the car for me when the weather warms and dries up. Good advice there as always mate! Richard:thumbup:
  11. Nice one Brian... Shame I missed you there on Thursday; glad your car is all well though. Richard:punk:
  12. ......Yay - the ZX passed without a hitch! Ahem; then I always knew it would...... Richard:thumbup1:
  13. She isn't all that - I mean check out the big spot on the side of her face...... Richard:cowboy:
  14. Why not mate - you live in a lovely part of the country!! Some great pics there too; and nice truck.... .....glad you had a good day. Just make sure the boss doesn't log on here:scared: Richard:cool3:
  15. I'm no expert but..... .......you could try looking for a Honda Accord Type-R forum.....:whistling: Otherwise I'd say worn clutch.....? Richard:wacko:
  16. Nice one mate - glad to have you back "properly" Richard:chef:
  17. That looks a nice car - I do have a soft spot for red Zs though..... ......I can understand what you mean about the wheels; not many car colours can wear gold rims but I reckon red ones can just get away with it! Still not to my choice though..... But that's a nice ZX nonetheless! Richard:cool3:
  18. I know mate! Jeff said you couldn't make it - still I saw your car there.... Richard:thumbup1:
  19. I can recommend this hotel...... http://www.leatheshead.co.uk/index.htm Nice rooms - we had one of the big superiors at the front - and good food too! Richard:cool3:
  20. Another big thanks to Jeff and Jamie for replacing my leaky fuel tank today!! And thanks to Lynda for the hot chocolate and toast too....... Also it was good to meet Steve, Andy and Jimmy! Richard:cool2:
  21. Nice pics there Daz - I love the Lake District..... I did that in my red Z in September 2007 - the weather was good and the road was almost clear. Apart from a family in a people carrier in front of me - in fact one of the kids in it (a teenage lad) had his video camera on the Z for most of the drive. Until they pulled over for a break! Sadly I never got to ask him for a copy:pinch: - I reckon the ZX looked pretty cool against that backdrop! Richard:biggrin:
  22. I saw this car at Zedworld today..... ....it does look good, even if the new wheels are a little too "bling" for a standard car. Oh and the suspension appears to have settled nicely too:punk: Richard:yes:
  23. Good result Mikey!! Richard:cool2:
  24. Congratulations on your purchase..... .....and welcome (back) to the club mate! Richard:yes:
  25. Welcome Dan! I work in Aylesbury so I'll keep an eye out for you mate. Richard:yes:
