list of best of british
Yup - I have to agree with all of those things.... ....and would like to add some great British inventions that have transformed the world in which we live. OK, we don't make (m)any of them now but we pioneered them and took them all over the world to the benefit of everyone else: The railways (Richard Trevithick and latterly George Stephenson) The telephone (Alexander Graham Bell) The television (John Logie Baird) The jet engine (Sir Frank Whittle) Penicillin (Alexander Flemming) The internet (Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee) And the Great British spirit and genius that inspired them all; and led to the inspiration of subsequent foreign inventors like Eddison etc.... kph or mph?
I agree - most likely on a rolling road.......:innocent: And probably clocked looking at the odometer! The "1000" mile digit is in the process of moving on to the next number but the "100" mile digit is only on 7 - so it's out of synch......:tt2: But to answer the question, it's most likely reading in miles (being US spec as Jeff says); but the boost gauge isn't reading too high considering...... exhaust advice
If you're considering a Mongoose then Jeff's post here is sound advice.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1363582&postcount=9 I bought the Blue Flame item and it is a top quality item. At the time it was also less than £300 delivered - so cheaper than the Mongoose! Richard:batman:

Where to buy bits online
For new parts Mike Feeney is the best bet (MJP in the traders section); for 2nd hand parts, then JeffTT (Zedworld in traders).... Both very helpful, knowledgeable and reliable. I would always use those guys above anyone else! Richard:chef:

80's TV was the Best!
I thought it was Heather Thomas in The Fall Guy - Heather Locklear was in TJ Hooker..... ....or was that the other way round??? Either way they were both fit; and The Fall Guy was also a great programme!! Richard:chef:

got a suit (quick pic)
Nice one Allan.... .....very smart mate - and I agree with your collar and tie comment! Since changing jobs 6 years ago I've probably only worn a suit 3 or 4 times and I hate it now..... I read somewhere that a new fashion statement called the "Hollywood Black Tie" was sweeping the world.... .....apparently you wear a suit as normal but with your shirt open 2-3 buttons and forget the tie. Some even go as far as having the shirt not tucked in...!! Richard:lol:

80's TV was the Best!
Yup - the 1980s was the best for TV.... ....my all time favourites were Knightrider, The A Team and The 6 Million Dollar Man (although the latter was more the 1970s). I also loved Magnum PI and Miami Vice (I always got into trouble at school for dressing like Crocket and Tubbs instead of wearing uniform!!!) But what about the British classics of the 1970s that strayed into the 1980s - for instance The Professionals and The Sweeney. Both awsome programmes that would never make in onto the small screen in our politically correct times nowadays!! Richard:cool2:
