I'm bringing this back to the top.... I have the portal log-in now, so we can start ordering tickets etc. However, I can't just publish details in the open forums - and it looks like I have to log in and reserve/buy all exhibitors' tickets as a club, rather than individually. So, before I call the organisers to discuss it, please can I have a show of hands from everyone wanting to attend? I am happy to log in and buy the lot, but I will want payment by return from all those committed ? I have started a thread for everyone to register their interest in attending. Hi all, As pre previous threads, we have secured a club stand at the Sandringham Pageant of Motoring, to be held on Sunday June 5th, at Her Majesty's home in Norfolk, in honour of Her platinum jubilee. The Sandringham Pageant of Motoring | 5th June 2022 | Sandringham (sandringhammotoringpageant.co.uk) I have asked for space to accommodate circa10 cars, so please can everyone interested in attending, please add your name to this thread. I now have the exhibitors' log-in details - and no doubt I'll have to log in and buy all the tickets myself (subject to one final call to the organisers), hence once committed, I will be asking for reimbursement very soon ? Exhibitors' tickets are £10 per car - including two visitors; and they MUST be ordered before 1st June, otherwise the normal admission applies (£15 in advance and £20 on the gates). Note below from the organisers.... Club Set Up Times Sunday 5th June - 7am to 9am Strictly NO vehicle movement allowed between the hours of 10am & 5pm. We encourage club members to meet off site and arrive together in convoy where possible for ease of access. Julia and me will be staying in the vicinity on the Saturday night, so we can be onsite first thing Sunday morning - probably in King's Lynn - so we can plan where to meet nearer the time. I collected my Zed from Jimmer yesterday, after my little auto-box failure.... I bought the box from Gray's Impul Zed from its new owner, Dipone (Thanks Trevor), got it delivered to Jim's and he duly fitted it for me. Plus I had a couple of little niggles fixed too... Some new anti-roll-bar links, plus a replacement windscreen washer motor , as my old one was leaking. Oh, and Jim also fitted my Z1 aluminium undertray as well. Thank you Jim - you're a star mate!! I also met Jim's neighbour from Infinity Exhausts - and have agreed a return trip next month, to get a nice new custom-built exhaust fitted.... I'll post more about that once it's been done ?

As for me, I did nothing to my Zed today - but yesterday I collected it from Sir Jimmer after he replaced my failed auto box, plus fixed a couple of minor niggles.... ........As the car had been away for a couple of weeks, I enjoyed a rather nice drive home along a reasonably quiet M4 ?

Hi Tom, I don't think it's anything to worry about - as you say, it's condensation forming on the AC pipe, then dripping down onto the exhaust manifold. Mine makes the same noise, particularly on a hot day, after the AC has been working hard to keep me cool ? I also have a small puddle form under the nearside rear of the engine compartment - pretty much below the area in your picture. The liquid is colour and odour-less, so it's neither coolant, oil or AC gas; so obviously condensation. All cars AC systems dump condensation in a similar way after they've been working hard in warm weather - they just don't all drip onto a hot manifold and hiss!

So.... To update on my gearbox situation, I have gone for a slight compromise on my original thoughts and Andrew's suggestion. I will certainly look to collect the parts for a manual conversion at leisure - albeit I will probably go for a new '98-spec box from the US when the time is right. My Zed has done 122k miles now, so my thoughts lean to combining the manual conversion with an engine rebuild in the future. Which means for now, rather than spending over £2k on a full auto box rebuild - only to dump it for a manual in a couple of years - Jimmer is doing a swap. Dipone (Thanks Trevor) has Graham's Impul Zed and is selling me the auto 'box which came off it. My Zed is in safe hands with Jimmer, so I get it back on the road for the summer, with a couple of other little job sorted too.
