  1. And of course, the motor museum
  2. Aside from the cars, Beaulieu has other things to offer - there was a falconry display.....
  3. There were a few other nice cars on show though.... ?
  4. .....Until late afternoon when only two of us remained ?
  5. The day started a little overcast, but the sun finally came out mid-morning, making for a really nice day ?
  6. ...Then on to Beaulieu - where we all finally congregated on our club stand ?
  7. And from there we met in the car park at Tesco's in Applemore.....
  8. Firstly, a big thank you to Gary, Jack, Ian, Pete, Steve and Tom - it was great to see you all on Sunday....! I thought I'd start a new thread for sharing pictures of the day. My starter for two, begins when Julia and me arrived at our hotel on Saturday afternoon
  9. It was indeed a great day - it was nice to catch up with everyone, after what seems so long.... The weather was kind to us as well, once the sun came out it was really quite warm. And Beaulieu is such a lovely location - not just for the cars, but the grounds and museum mean there is something for everyone. We really enjoyed the falconry display too....! I'll get my pics up tomorrow ?
  10. Hi all, please see attached our club stand label for tomorrow - I have printed a few for when w meet at Tesco in the morning, but just in case, any of us are late, at lease you can download and print your own.... Have a great evening and a safe journey down to Beaulieu.... Looking forward to seeing you there ? 300zx Beaulieu stand.pdf
  11. Please see the events thread for our stand label for tomorrow..... ?
  12. Yup - just as Tom says, the display label is only for the marshals' benefit, to show us where to head once inside. You need to buy your tickets in advance, on the Simply Japanese website, they are £15 per person, if attending in a Japanese car on display.
  13. LOL - looking forward to it mate.... ?
  14. Cheers Tom - so let's compromise and say we all meet for 8am at the latest, ready to leave by 8.10.... No need for refuelling, as we're only heading a few miles down the road. Plenty of time to do that on the way home ?
  15. Yup - our stand number is R24. I now have the display labels to hand out... Happy to print and distribute on Sunday - or I can e-mail/PM them to you.
  16. Yup - we're meeting at Tesco Applemore on Sunday morning. 7.30 is probably a bit early, as we don't have to be inside and on the stand until (say) 9.30, ready for public opening at 10. I'd say 8.30 - and no doubt we will all confirm in the events thread. I'm staying about 20 minutes drive away on Saturday night so will leave the hotel around 8.....!
  17. Sorry to hear that Andrew - and both Julia and me wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.... Take care and hope to see you soon. Richard?
  18. Today, I did nothing to the Zed - but yesterday, I decided to paint my brake calipers.......
  19. Indeed.....!! That Zagato is hideous - just like the Aston of the same name - but you still have to love that late 80s-early 90s Japanese attempt at a luxury interior ? The 'Vert, though, is lovely - just like the one Gio bought a while back...?
  20. Nice one Steve - look forward to seeing you there mate.... It's been a long time since we last met!!
