Happy birthday mate - have a great day!! Richard?

Hi and welcome to the club Jordy! Richard?

Just read the sad news - Olivia Newton Joh has passed away..... RIP.... ?

Hi all, Following my previous thread regarding the club's AGM, I would like to start by thanking you all for your interest. I have now booked the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, for Sunday October 2nd - details here: British Motor Museum | Home We'll have a dedicated parking area in the museum grounds and the AGM will be held around lunchtime - with a buffet lunch supplied. There will also be the opportunity to meet at a nearby hotel on the Saturday night, for those who need to travel up or down to Warwickshire - and no doubt those staying will get together for dinner that evening..... I will post details of the hotel shortly, once availability has been confirmed. Look forward to seeing you there!

I didn't get one at all...... Maybe they just clocked the fact I'm a mean b@stard and thought it best not to....LOL ?

Many happy returns Andy - hope you're well, wherever you are mate!!

LOL - typical Si quote there...... But yes, if it were me, I'd probably source an OEM space-saver from somewhere and reinstall it in its rightful place ?

LOL - I seem to remember they were advertising entry photos for sale, during the show..... I never bothered to go looking for mine, for the very reason you quote!!

Yes, this is much more like it....... Looking like a firm booking to me ?

Nice....!!

That's more like it...... ?

Excellent Gray / Gary..... ? .....Sorry to hear that Paul..... ? But let's keep those "yes's" coming.......?

AGM on the 2nd Tom - the 1st is for people travelling, to get together at the chosen hotel that evening for a meal, then off to the BMM on Sunday 2nd for the main meet, then AGM with lunch.

Good morning everyone, I have been asked a few times recently as to whether we are holding an AGM this year - and apologise that we have been a bit tardy in organising something for 2022. So, given that we are now in the middle of the holiday season, it's probably best to look at late-September/early October if we are going to hold an event this year. The main holiday season is over, the weather is still usually kind, so it is one last chance to get out with our cars before winter.... I have spoken with the British Motor Museum, as they did a great job for our 2019 event - and they have availability for Sunday October 2nd. British Motor Museum | Home It's a central location - being in Warwickshire; just off the M40, south of Birmingham. Ideally, we'd follow previous year's plans and get together in a nearby hotel on the Saturday night, ready for a short drive to the BMM on Sunday morning. So as members, what are your thoughts...? Are you likely to attend...? We have also been successful in our application for a stand at this year's NEC Classic Motor Show - so the AGM could be a good opportunity to put your car forward as a potential exhibitor..... Perhaps we could have members voting on the day; and collectively discuss the arrangements for the NEC, like accommodation etc.

I have just seen the sad news that Bernard Cribbins has passed away aged 93... RIP sir - I can remember watching him on TV since I was a small child.... ?

Happy birthday Vig - have a great day mate! Richard?

....Oh, and there's also the house and gardens to visit.....!!

And a couple of other cars from the TV screen.... ?

There's also the Top Gear exhibition.....

...Not to mention, a trip down the motoring memory lane.....

....Which had the James Bond "No Time to Die" exhibit.....
