Wheres my Hover Board ?
Cool!! All those things we thought 2012 would be like back in 1985 (those of us who were actually born that is - LOL). And the reality? It's not actually that different really it is? Sure we all have the internet; computers and mobile phones are smaller and way more powerful..... .....but we're not living in space stations; we still have our brick houses and countryside, as opposed to the clinical white cities of the sci-fi movies; and we're still driving in cars with rubber tyres and internal combustion engines, on roads of tarmac. Just as we have since the turn of the century - the 20th century that is back in 1901..... Richard:euro:

Getting old too quick?
Nothing wrong with that mate - Julia and I have been members for well over 10 years and I'm "only" 42..... We both like history and the outdoors, so we are members of English Heritage too, and after a few visits to various places it sure does pay for itself. And yes, I do have my sticker in the ZX windscreen - you need it there to get free parking in their carparks!! Richard:thumbup1:

Can you get classic car insurance for the zx??
Unlikey mate - but not impossible.... .....although to qualify for a classic car policy on the ZX you must have another vehicle for everyday use. Richard:yinyang:

Can you get classic car insurance for the zx??
Yes - although different companies have different age restrictions (for both driver and car).... .....But Lynbrooks, Footman James, Carol Nash and Adrian Flux are just 4 names you could try. Richard:thumbup1:

How many miles.........???
heh heh, no Gaz; it's not my bag matey - although £300 purchase price; knock a few hundred thousand off the odometer and flog it out for £1000 to a mini-cab driver and that's £700 profit(*).....:shifty: Richard:laugh: (*) not that I'd advocate such dishonest and illegal behaviour - it was a joke; just in case anyone thought I was serious!!!

How many miles.........???

Some less than honest dealer could snap that up, wind it back 500,000 miles and no-one would know any better......:shifty: Richard:euro:

So sorry to hear that Nicci..... ....but that is sound sound advice. I really hope you can turn things around Nicci; you always have us to talk to. Oh and do get yourself another ZX; then you'll soon be beating the men off with a shitty stick!!! All the best, Richard:thumbup1:

Why, why, why ???
So sad to see - especially as there are some seriously, potentially expensive, classic motors there.... ....the 300SL Gullwing, XK120, Lambo Miura and F40 being just a couple that would be serious collectors' cars nowadays. And that's before you get to the American muscle cars. We'll forget the Mk4 Supra though - no big loss there LOL - It brings a tear to my eye to see them all rotting away; especially when there are some folk who would rush to preserve a Morris Minor or (heaven forbid) an Austin Allegro!!! Richard:huh:

Got the Old Girl back from the bodyshop.......:)
Nice work mate - it's looking good!! Richard:thumbup1:

Unlucky Andy Murray
So true Bri - sadly that's what it seems to be about now; celebrities that is. I reckon if we actually decided to ignore them, then they would cease to be so important (or self righteous)..... And as for the debate on whether Beckham should have been picked for the Olympic squad, I say NO!! Stuart Pearce was right to exclude Becks - it's the Olympics FFS and not a "farewell tour" for David Beckham. He's one man and should not consider himself bigger than the Olympic Games or the UK's campaign in the events. Richard:asshole:
