  1. Great idea Bri - and we're pleased to have put it into action; so thanks to Graham and Lee for making it happen.... .....LOL - although I thought Bri was a younger, bigger version of Sea Sick Steve.....
  2. Nice work as ever Lee.... .....I'll stick with a PC and keyboard though....
  3. Whilst I do not have RLTC, I'd agree with Paul's statement..... If you're going to fit any kind of TC, then pay more and fit the best; or don't bother at all..... Richard:cool:
  4. Sorry to hear that Adam - I hope you get it sorted mate.... .....If you need any advice or assistance, we are all here to help you; good luck! Richard:sad:
  5. Well, it was bad news this afternoon - sadly my car was not ready for collection this evening; so I have to slum it in the CLS again tomorrow!!! Richard:oops:
  6. Welcome Andy!! Richard:cool:
  7. Welcome to the club mate...... ....And Si is right; whilst we welcome members with any incarnation of the Z-cars, we really only cater for the Z32.... However The Zclub specifically caters for owners of all the Zcars; and someone on there will certainly help you!! Although for OEM Nissan parts - whatever Z you drive - Mike Feeney (trading as MJP Auto) in the traders' section will be able to supply you. He's also over on Zclub as well.... Good luck, Richard:cool:
  8. Welcome to the club mate - and enjoy your new toy!! Richard:thumbup:
  9. That looks a bit of a bargain Graham!! Good luck with your new toy mate:thumbup:
  10. Sure is Gaz. The only thing I don't like is the gear selector located on the steering column - even on an auto, I like to see the lever mounted between the front seats..... .....That, and I cannot seem to get my phone connected to the COMAND system!! But they are minor gripes - it's lovely. And I would certainly like a blast in the AMG63 version:biggrin: Richard:cool:
  11. It's dead nice to drive as well - I could go for the Coupe, for sure..... I've just been out to take a couple of pics...
  12. I dropped the SLK off at MB for some work this morning and was supposed to have a courtesy car, but they hadn't booked one for me.... .....So they have given me a nice 63 plate CLS 350cdi Shooting Brake for the day.... I just need somewhere to go in it now... Richard:thumbup:
  13. Many happy returns Dave - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  14. LOL - which, ironically, is when you need it the most!!!
  15. Good news there Daz..... And it certainly looks like you got yourself a real bargain mate!! Richard:cool2:
  16. To answer the question, on a UK spec car, there is indeed a separate button for the headlamp washers - on the headlamp switch itself as posted in the pics above..... .....And it only works when your headlamps are switched on!! So to test, with the headlamps (AND ignition) on, press the button; you should hear a "click" from the relay behind the OSF wing and the wipers should also perform 2 or 3 wipes. If none of that happens, then your (brown) relay is dead and needs replacing - as said, it is just inside the wheel arch of the right hand front wing to the rear of the wheel (near the side indicator repeater)..... Replace it!! Once you have done that (as I did today) try again (with headlamps and ignition on) - if the relay clicks and the wipers sweep; that's half the issue solved. If the headlamp washers still do not spray, listen for the motor engaging - if it does, then your jets are most likely blocked.... If it does not engage, then the motor is most likely dead (like I found mine is today). If the latter, you need to replace the motor - I believe it is just behind the front bumper under the OSF wing, attached to the washer fluid reservoir... Richard:cool:
  17. Perfect - great thread Jeff; thanks mate.....
  18. I replaced the relay under the OSF wing for the headlamp wash system...... I have had it sitting in my garage for months since buying it from Slick Pete (cheers mate) ages ago!! The good news is, the relay swap was needed (there is now life when pressing the headlamp wash button with the headlights on)..... The bad news is, the headlamp washer motor is probably knackered; as there is still no squirtage!!! Richard:surrender:
  19. This is my favourite after market 'wheel - and whilst I actually like the OEM (non-airbag) one, this is the only steering wheel swap I would consider myself!! Richard:cool2:
  20. Me too..... .....But you're dead right Pete; this car needs to be bought ASAP!!! Richard:cool:
  21. Good man Scott....
  22. Good call Gary..... Lest we forget:flowers:
  23. Many happy returns Del - and have a great 30th mate!! Richard:happybday:
  24. Yup - German cars have had it for years now.... My first Merc had it way back in 1999; but it's taken a few years for others to catch up. Julia's Rav-4 is a 2006 model and that does not have it.... As for the simplicity of using the function (LOL at Si's comments); yes, I do like it as it's a dead handy option. In fact I now have trouble in the ZX and Rav - in that I forget they do not have it!!! So yes, if there was a way to incorporate it into the ZX, then I'd certainly be interested as well....:hyper: Also, does anyone play the game whereby you challenge yourself to complete your manoeuvre before the end of the third flash.... Richard:batman:
  25. Keep up the good work matey.....
