  1. Anything is possible mate - Mark Derby is probably the best man to answer that....
  2. I have had a similar experience too - a few years ago I took my red ZX to the Lake District on holiday. We were driving over the Hardknott Pass behind a family in a Renault Scenic or the like; and their teenage son was hanging out of the window filming the Zed as we (carefully) ambled along!! I searched YouTube for a while afterwards to try and find the video - as I never got the chance to stop them and ask for a copy!! Shame, it was a nice sunny day and there were no other cars around - so it would have looked pretty cool!! Richard:biggrin:
  3. At least you got there in the end Jeff..... ....And I'd agree with that; especially now that prices have dropped, making a fast and still fairly modern car affordable to those folks who might thrash them...
  4. And how about this..... Richard:walkman:
  5. And how about one from way before I was born..... Richard:cool2:
  6. I might have posted these before - but who cares..... and Richard:cool:
  7. Here's my starter for tonight..... Richard:punk:
  8. I like it on the front roof panel - and of course the rear one before the tailgate.... But I'm not keen on it being applied to the A-pillars and targa panels - sorry mate! Richard:cool2:
  9. Mine too..... Although with modern diesel engines and the wonderful magic ways they keep down emissions and fuel consumption, anything is possible....!!
  10. PMSL..... 'Fraid so; but no-one would ever know.....:innocent:
  11. Agreed - horses for courses and all that.... I drove an Evo 8 (I think, it was only a year or two old) not long after I bought my first ZX; and whilst I thought it handled bloody well and went pretty fast, I would not have actually bought one myself. Hell, it didn't like being driven "normally" so I reckon my licence would have been taken off me in the first week of owning one!! There are better machines out there; like an RS4 or an RS6, which still retain that civilised way about them - despite being fast as fook...
  12. LOL - you're welcome matey.... And whilst I live in Buckinghamshire now, I am actually from the East End of London originally; so I know a lot worse than that....:wink:
  13. LOL - it's the swear filter Daz - put a space between the words as in "salt water" otherwise it thinks you are typing tw@t (as in saltw@ter)..... Just like if you try and type that town on the NE Lincs coast known as Sc\/nthorpe..... It registers a rude word and computer says no....
  14. Hmmm - I'd say it's time to get to work with a blowtorch and some pliers on that fella mate.....:death:
  15. Unbelievable - the arseholes that do this kind of thing should be strung up IMO... And hell, if all they wanted was the wheels, they could have just left the car so that it could be recovered:nono: I feel for the owner and would be happy if something really horrible befalls the perpetrators of this crime:gun_bandana:
  16. Good call Alex - best to get in early with these events so that any interested folk can sort their holidays from work in good time:wink: Richard:thumbup:
  17. Looks good mate - I have always liked the Rangies.... Richard:cool:
  18. Happy birthday Stu - have a great day mate! Richard:happybday:
  19. Many happy returns for your big 5-0 Steve; hope you have a great day mate....:hyper: Richard:happybday:
  20. No, no, I am saying nothing......:surrender:
  21. LOL - I know that Nicci..... I was just trying to save face for us both......
  22. Nice pics Vig - thanks for sharing mate!!! Richard:cool:
  23. Thanks for warning me - (ahem) sorry, letting us know you'll be supporting us in 2014.... Hopefully see you all there!!! Richard:thumbup:
  24. I know matey - I read your Zclub thread; plus I believe you told me.... Richard:thumbup:
