What makes you "bond" with a car?
Yup - I agree Si.... ......I was sad when my friend drove away my last SLK350 to sell on my behalf, a few weeks ago. I loved that car - it was one of the best I'd ever owned, but the very next day I collected my AMG and suddenly the old 350 was a distant memory..... However the Zed has something most modern cars do not possess, a heart and soul. Every time I drive it, it makes me smile - I may have had a hellish day, but shut the door of the Zed and the feel, sound and smell make the bad things melt away. Then there's the looks you get from other drivers and passing pedestrians. Anybody really; the number of people who come and talk to me about the Zed, how much they admire it, what is it, we all know that feeling... I might decide to sell the Zed in future, who knows? But what I do know is - is that just like in 2009 - it would be because I was buying another 300zx....

Hi and welcome to the club mate! Richard:cool:

Stick or lever?
I call it a gear lever - and it has a knob on the top..... But I do remember, as a small child in the 1970s, people calling it a gear-stick here in the UK. Perhaps the Americans stole the phrase from us back then - after all, their Yank-Tanks of the 70's were pretty much all autos, so they might not have had their own terminology.....

Where can I find a Factory steering wheel
I agree - if Nissan still does supply them, they will be pretty expensive! Mondo did mine OEM style and it's bloody excellent....
