NEC pics thread
My friend and I thought this year's show was one of the best, after visiting yesterday.... .....So I'm looking forward to going back again tomorrow - and Julia is also quit keen to look around the exhibits too. You'll have to try and get over next time Gary...

If you're sticking with black, then I suggest either Mercedes Obsidian black or Land Rover Santorini black.... ...Both are very similar - with a subtle gold and silver fleck in the mix. PhilP's UK spec Zed is Obsidian black and it looks dead good...

The Simpsons got in right.
Yup - this in a nut-shell.... I think I commented on FB the other day, that it'd be like choosing between herpes and syphilis. Sadly, Trump is the herpes to Clinton's syphilis. IE the (very slightly) lesser of two evils....

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
It is indeed - along with so many others - but we are dependent on volunteers; and at such short notice, we have to go with the first person to step up. This year, Ash has done so - so as Andrew says, we have a 2+2, 2+0, a slick-top and a convertible. One of each, if you will...... Onwards and upwards; here's to a good show at the weekend:cool:

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
Fantastic news Ash - I just know you'll do yourself, your Zed and the club proud mate! Thank you for stepping in, mate - it's most appreciated! See you over the weekend, then....

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
Thanks for stepping up Ash - and hold that thought..... .....I don't want to put you out with having to travel back and forth, if there is a more convenient option!

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
It is indeed - although I think Andy has other commitments now..... Let's see what he says; and if anyone else throws a hat into the ring if Andy cannot make it. Failing that, we can always stick to 3 cars and allow a bot more space to walk around the stand....!

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
No probs mate - it is indeed very short notice so I fully appreciate I am asking a lot.... Thanks anyway! Richard:cool:

Urgent appeal re the NEC......
.......Your club needs you! Well, one of you..... Unfortunately due to work commitments Funky Si has had to pull out of exhibiting at the NEC this year. AndrewG was on the reserve list, but sadly has been let down by his painter so his rear spoiler will most likely not be finished in time. Is anyone else, with a very nice Zed, ready, willing and able to step in at the eleventh hour? Please remember that you'll have to be at the NEC Thursday morning; and commit your car (and ideally yourself) until late Sunday evening! To recap, we have some hotel rooms booked - and the club will cover the cost. All you have to pay for are your meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner); and fuel for the journey..... At this late stage, we feel it safer to stick with relatively stock examples (unless either or our racing versions were available); or cars which any of the committee has seen recently. T.Mogsy should be in with a shot, as he was one of the first volunteers in the other thread. I do appreciate this is very short notice now - and if Andrew's car was ready, then I would not be asking. Craig is also prepared to step in - as he will be in attendance all weekend anyway - but we thought we'd offer the place in the open first. In view of the urgency, this won't go to a poll as we don't have time; so apologies in advance. Craig and I will review, decide and advise the outcome by this time tomorrow. Thanks for your help - it is most appreciated! Richard
