  1. Excuse the phone-quality, but I popped out to take a couple of pics of the Zed in the garage, under its new cover....
  2. I know what you mean Gary - that little over-hang at the base just didn't look quite "right" when viewing the car from the rear. It was starting to bug me, to be honest... I bought this cover - saw it advertised in a classic car magazine http://www.cardustcovers.co.uk/car_covers/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=127 It's soft enough so as not to scratch paintwork when covering/removing, yet heavy enough to sit properly. Despite being "large sports car" sized, it doesn't quite reach the floor at both front and rear. But it does the job of keeping the car dust-free in the garage!
  3. I'm sure you could make a few kit cars accept the VG - but I don't reckon I'd do it for the same reason Wchestnutt mentioned above! ...Although it might work fine, mounted mid-ships, in something like a replica Lambo Countach...
  4. ....Oh, and I also made use of my new, super soft, dust-cover when putting the Zed back in the garage....
  5. I removed my "upgraded" rear wiper (the Laguna one) and reinstated the OEM version instead. I decided I preferred the "minimalist" look of the original wiper, complete with hybrid-style wiper-blade....... ......So if anyone would like a Laguna rear wiper, I have an almost brand new one up for grabs...
  6. Sounds good Paul - I'd be interested..... ......But I certainly won't be camping mate...
  7. Yup - as above mate! Damage is minimal - and hopefully the 4x4 driver isn't going to bang in a spurious personal injury claim, raising the cost of your insurer's payout beyond what's reasonable. Happens to us all at some point.....:flowers:
  8. Great road trip sir - and thank you for sharing!! Richard:cool:
  9. And since David Coverdale was 65 years old yesterday - I thought I'd pay tribute........:happybday:
  10. Can't believe this was 4-odd years ago, but I was listening to this on the way home this evening....
  11. I've probably posted this before - but what the hell, it's great song..... RIP Ronnie...:punk:
  12. Many happy returns Scotty...:happybday:
  13. Fingers crossed for you Si.......:clover:
  14. Happy birthday Barry - hope you have a great day mate! Richard:happybday:
  15. Many happy returns Nick! Richard:happybday:
  16. A belated happy birthday sir! Hope you had a great day....
  17. Mad - angry looking thing; fugly and, just mad.....:rofl:
  18. Hi and welcome Jay.... ......Good luck with your new toy too mate; looks tidy! Richard:cool:
  19. Hello and welcome to the club mate! Richard:cool:
  20. Hi and welcome to the club Raz.......
  21. No probs sir..... ....I'll leave the photo though; any excuse for a tidy Zed picture....:lol:
  22. Sure is..... And good to be back too, thanks Gary!! I'll get a few pics up from the trip in the next couple of days:wink:
  23. Hey Bri, Could it have been this one - taken next to mine at Shugborough, back in August 2013.....?
  24. I finally replaced the left side windscreen trim...... .....And then gave the Zed a good wash, plus a coat of Valet Pro Classic Gloss Protection wax. Hell, the car was pretty dirty after a week touring Dartmoor, but it's now back to its shiny blueness once again.... 800 miles covered and everything in order, as it should be....
  25. He is - but as said above, Mike has had a few issues of late. Drop him a PM or e-mail though; he is still picking up and answering enquiries re orders etc....
