hi all.

picked up my lady yesterday and today she is at the garage...why because on the way home from picking her up the aux belts snapped...great.

got into the garage and the water pump is goosed too, not a great start.

i have been trying to find information about the water pump and if its the same as the turbo engine and trying to find the correct belt codes. any help would be great...

beautiful car to drive.

Water pump is the same 99% sure, but some of the belts aren't the same. Will you be undertaking this yourself or a shop to do it?

Anyway, welcome mate.

no Alic, going to get the garage to do it, ill just buy the parts and pay them afterwards....great when you have family in the business.....it looks a pain to do and with it being auto i think ill need the crank tool. ive been looking for a pump but nearly always came up with turbo, so thanks for that mate and yea the belts are hard to find the right code for also, and does not show part numbers in the manual.

(adl) phoenix will be able to tell you what you need and possibly order it to you.

The Crank tool is 50:50 from what I have gathered, my one slid right off, but somepeoples are stuck. I had an auto an I used a trick from phoenix which is to lodge the crank and flick the starter to break open the bolt, so no need to take the starter off thank god.

Welcome to the wild world of zed ownership. Only a newbie myself but really feel like I'm part of the family....you will enjoy it here. Steve

Welcome to the club.

I owned a rev 4 MR2 which I sold to make way for my Zed. Regret selling it if I’m honest. It was a fantastic car and I wish I could have kept both of them.

✔️ SWB                   ✔️ Twin Turbo
✔️ Manual               ✔️ Slick-top
✔️ Seat belts mounted in the correct places...
