saw one of these today...
I am a big fan of the GT - GT/S - GT/C and naturally the new GT/R.... .....Whilst the latter is a devastating track weapon, I think I'd pick the one below it in the series for everyday use. If only....

Classic cars now a full on bandwagon ?
Yup - I saw this at the NEC last weekend! The guys on the Silverstone Auctions stand let me in for a (ahem) free preview at 8am Sunday morning - well before the show's public opening.

Classic cars now a full on bandwagon ?
Ditto.... I do tend to agree with Marky though; a lot of what are being passed off as "classics" are indeed just older cars, which are past their prime, yet too young and plentiful to be classed as a classic right now. Granted, the first generation XK8 will certainly be a proper modern classic, once there are fewer on the road. But right now, nice cars though they are, they are just another old Jag. Especially whilst the current model has only just left production. Same with turn-of-the-millennium Mercs. Again the early 90s and older Mercs are becoming more sought after, there's no doubt, but 1st and 2nd gen. CLKs...? AMG models aside, jut not yet - they too are just another old car!! Give it another 10 years, maybe... Although when new, these cars tended to be oversupplied; so whilst they remain plentiful, their classic status is still not assured. Bandwagon, indeed....

Should i Sell my 300zx and get a 99 spec?
I personally wouldn't bother, Edviss...! If you have a sound car, in good condition, then keep it. You'll pay a fortune to import a 99-spec car - and even though z32 prices appear to be on the rise, they are still taking their time to find the right buyer.

New Owner
Amazing.... It sure is - and with only 10k miles, that's about as factory fresh as you're going to get nowadays!!! Yes indeed - and if you cannot resist the urge to modify it, might I suggest you sell the white one to me and buy yourself another to molest... But congratulations on the acquisition mate; that car will become ever-more desirable for sure:thumbup:

Uk Z sale
I saw this the other day too - and yes, I also noticed it was at the same dealers as the blue, 225k mile cat c car!! Great find on the MOT history Andrew; I do also tend to agree with Jeff, that the trend of hiding reg numbers in for sale adverts could be a blatant attempt to hide a cars' history from prospective buyers; who might otherwise not bother to view. That, or people are paranoid about number-plate cloning...!! But on the face of it, this looks a pretty good buy!
