Rear light opinions - big ass car
I like that - go for this look, Lee.... Of course, like the other purists, I still prefer the 99-spec rear lights; however with your wide-arse and twin-single round exhausts sticking through the bumper, the round lights continue the theme well. But definitely go for the black panel - Andy Isherwood did the same (albeit with carbon fibre) on his cherry-red SWB a few years back. Again, this looked great for a round-light conversion.

Rear light opinions - big ass car
I agree - OEM 1990-spec looks better without the addition of mesh. Better for clean air-flow to assist cooling too.... ......And yes; when I upgraded my red Zed with an OEM 99-spec (thanks Mike F), it did come with the mesh....... Which I ended up ditching too. However that was in part due to a seagull flying through it, whilst I was doing (ahem) 70mph on the A39 in Cornwall...

Here since 2003
Thanks Tony - on behalf of the committee; we try to do our best....! Trish, I completely echo what Gary has said. Sadly 2015 is a distant memory for many of us today; but that is in no way an excuse from me or anyone else! If you could please remind either Gary or me of the sum involved, then you will be reimbursed from the club right away. All I require, is an email from yourself, just to support the payment in our financial records. Oh, and your bank/paypal details in order for us to make payment! On behalf of the club, we certainly thank you for stepping in at JAE 2015, when we ran short of supplies - and I will keep to my word above. The issue regarding your membership is, however, a separate matter; as my fellow committee have said, it's all down to the forum software itself. Whilst I remain true to my promise, it will remain up to you, to organise your membership renewal, once you have been reimbursed for your outlay at JAE 2015. All the best, Richard

What did you do to your zed today?
To be honest, I can relate to this..... ....Many new cars don't have a spare wheel - my AMG doesn't - and even if it did; if I was (say) heading off on holiday and got a puncture; with a boot full of luggage, just where exactly would I put the "normal" wheel that I'd just removed? And that relates to both the Zed and Merc! Seems the essential tools would be a mobile phone and RAC/MB assistance phone number....

Wheel finish?
After asking the same question myself a short time ago - and receiving the same answers - I too have to concur.... And just to finish things off, get the car lowered by 20-25mm too..... Makes one hell of a difference; Meister-R coilovers are a great upgrade:wink:
-
What did you do to your zed today?
....Nope! ......You're OK Ali; they need to be something like a minimum height of 250mm and a max of 1000mm from the ground. Either in the centre line or the off-side where just one is fitted; and 100 mm between the light-emitting surfaces of the [stop or rear] lamps.

Tyre width size
Yup - what he said......

For all those that like a we drink
I'm not into spirits so much - more a wine and Champagne kind of person.... .....However I do like gin; and have discovered some nice regional gins lately, from small local distilleries whilst on hols. Mermaid from the IoW and Curio from Cornwall are very good. If you like gin, that is....
-
So which is the best Z ?
I am inclined to concur.... ............Although I'd probably put the 370z in third, as opposed to the 350:wink:

Favourite song/Songs
My favourite song is Don Henley's "Boys of Summer." I can listen to that anytime and it just makes me feel good..... .....Otherwise, being predominantly a rock fan, most songs from the following (with my favourite in brackets): Queen (One Year of Love - from Highlander, of course......) Whitesnake (Fool For Your Lovin') Guns N Roses (Don't Cry) Dire Straits (Tunnel of Love) Bryan Adams (Run to You - and pretty much everything from the "Reckless" album) Dio (Rock & Roll Children) Bon Jovi (Wanted Dead or Alive) Lead Zeppelin (Stairway to Heaven) Other than that, I was also into soul back in the 1980s; and enjoyed music from the likes of: Marvin Gaye George Benson Luther Vandross Michael Jackson Oleta Adams And of course, some great pop acts originated from the 1980s like: George Michael - a musical genius and a sad loss to music (RIP, sir) Prince (Ditto as above) Duran Duran Madonna (up to the "True Blue" album, nothing thereafter was any good....) I also like the Bee Gees - and am so glad I got to see them at Wembley Stadium in September 1998 for "One Night Only." Awesome performance..... That'll do for now.....

Favourite Film Films
Some good choices there Sudesh....! For me, my favourite film ever (which also has, IMO, the best soundtrack), is Highlander.... Then, in no particular order.... All three Austin Powers movies Superman The Movie Superman II When Harry Met Sally Running Scared The Back To The Future trilogy All the Indiana Jones movies Jack Reacher (the first one)
