  1. All the best for 2018, everybody.......:thumbup::cool:
  2. Hi and welcome to the club, Tom And good luck in your search! Richard
  3. Great club spirit there Si. Nice one, mate........
  4. Yup, I could not have said it better myself........... Good luck in your new home Tom!
  5. A belated happy birthday mate........ :happybday:
  6. Top ones for me Lee - the after-burner effect..... .....I am not a fan of the mixed colours of the Fiat Coupe set-up; but concur that it could work, if the lenses were all tinted the same (or swapped for clear versions). Someone must have made after-market clear lenses for the Fiat....? Richard:cool:
  7. Many happy returns Jason - and congrats on the big 5-0 this year..... Richard:happybday:
  8. Not as bad as a few Sundays ago - just 2-3 inches of snow here..... ......at the moment; it's still snowing though!! But it's a fine time for the boiler to break..... Luckily the gas-fire heats the house reasonably well - and the back-up emersion in the tank is keeping us in hot water. British Gas can't get someone out until next week either, so also fortunate that we're heading away for a few days.
  9. Yup - that's my thought too.... Just drop the rear profile by another 5% over what you'd do for having the same diameter rims.... So assuming front is currently 235/40/18, where you might have 265/35/18 on the rear, go for 265/30/19. Job done.... As for insurance, it should be no more of an issue than any other wheel upgrade.
  10. Looking good Mr Wilson.....
  11. Yup - any Zed where the '89-spec bumper is entirely body coloured, has had it repainted at some point....
  12. Nice..... Merry Christmas Jeff - and love to Lynda...:santa:
  13. Yup - whilst I have never attempted it, I'd certainly agree with Jeff, Tony!! And auto-box fluid (especially "used") is just horrible stuff. When I fixed my leaking PAS-oil cooler, the mess was bad enough...!!! I can see the upside of being on my back, covered in oil and playing with holes as much as any man might - but not where a 300zx auto-box is involved.....
  14. LOL - nice one Ali.... .....And glad it arrived safely mate....:santa:
  15. Yup - your memory serves you well Sudesh; you're dead right! The only TT convertibles were retro-fits.... And if anyone is looking for a nice 'Vert, you could do a lot worse than this one.... https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185398-For-Sale-Red-convertible&p=1965359#post1965359
  16. .....Also, on the subject of breweries, there is also a distillery (which I believe is owned by one of the breweries). Their Mermaid Gin is one of the nicest gins I have tried in a long time!!
  17. Yup - he's lived there for years....!! We usually meet up with Graham and Julie at The Boat House pub in Seaview - good location and nice food. Apart from that lobster that took its revenge on me a couple of years ago... And yes, I do usually come over in the Zed, so it would certainly be a good excuse for a mini-Zed meet....
  18. Yup - there speaks the voice of experience..... And I too hate to say it, after you have gone through all that effort, but that is why Jimmer did mine all-in; parts labour and new coolant etc. for just £245!!!
  19. Lovely pics Jeff - and as you say, that would have made a superb car photo back-drop...... Thanks for sharing - and Feliz Natal, sir....
  20. Nice one Mike - so we now have another Islander in the club; as Graham (Groover) lives in Ryde.... I do like the Island and try to visit every year. I shall drop you a line next time we're over, so we can meet in one of those pubs... Enjoy.... Richard:thumbup:
  21. Yup - all well here thanks Sudesh! Glad to see you're thinking about getting another 300zx..... ...It would indeed...:clover:
  22. LOL - dunno though; I reckon I could happily live there....
  23. Hi Mate, I think I still have a TT one in my garage.... It was BNIB and sitting on Jeff's shelf at Zedworld for a while, until he fitted it to my Zed in 2012..... I covered about 15k miles with it, and then bought another brand new one from Z1 in the summer of 2016, when I also fitted a new radiator etc., due to coolant loss and overheating issues. I can't be sure the coupling was not at fault, since it was previously unused. But you're welcome to have it FOC, to see it if cures your problem. I'll dig it out today and post it next week if you want to try it. Richard
  24. Hi and welcome back mate....! I certainly remember your red Zed - although I don't remember it getting written off... That was a sad loss indeed. Good luck in your search for another though! Richard:cool:
