We have about £11k in the account nowadays - and I am long overdue publishing the last few years club accounts, since taking on the treasurer's role...:oops: Years of hosting, paying for shows, competition prizes - combined with dwindling membership and overhauling the whole traders' subs have depleted our funds a little....:wink:

Beaulieu is always a good day out - but the weather was pants and, whilst I was Zedless, it was still good to catch up with Craig, Ian, Joel and Edd…. The museum and house saved the day - but still a pity really, as many exhibitors left around midday. Great to see Gary (Hellraiser) made it along - even though I missed you mate, I did spot your fine Zed arriving, whilst I was queueing at the "peasant's entrance!".....:lol: Here's to next year :clover:

Me too...… …..Whilst I know that the arcing on start-up gives it away that we have HIDs, how many testers even know what these cars are nowadays; let alone whether they had HIDs as OEM equipment back in the day...:wink: I'd consider taking the chance, just to see if I'd get away with it.... Granted, a recorded fail would make the tester more vigilant next year - but if it passed, happy days....:cool:

That's the only time I ever use cruise..... ….I read somewhere once, that one should never use cruise when breaking the speed limit - which we all never do of course - so that's about it...:lol: But I would not de-spec the car either.... I must admit, though, the Zed's cruise is cumbersome to use in comparison to our other cars. I mean, you have to switch it on, and then set the cruising speed - whereas on the others, you just pull one lever or hit one button. That's, like, twice the effort in a Zed.....:biggrin:
