  1. Sorry I missed you Martin - still, there'll be other events no doubt. Glad you could make it though; you were there, it doesn't matter for how long, but thanks for coming along!
  2. You were missed Joel - as for AGM feedback, the minutes will be posted shortly..... …….And regarding the NEC show, we didn't decide on any entrants at the show - so we will just do as we did last year. Nominate yourself in the relevant thread; and we'll be putting it to the members' vote once again:wink:
  3. Great to see you again Tom - and well deserved awards they were too mate! You have a fine Zed there...
  4. Great pics Andrew - and thanks for sharing!! Good to see you again too mate; and may I say, the awards you won were well deserved. Yours is one of my favourite cars in the club for sure..
  5. Sure was...!! Thanks to everyone who made it - and for those who could not be with us, you were there in spirit!!
  6. Sorry to hear that mate... ….And Gary is dead right. Hope you feel better soon mate; and there'll always be other events to attend...:clover:
  7. Great photos Art - thanks for sharing mate. I must get mine posted (this time....) Great to see you again as well...
  8. You're welcome Ali - great to see you and Damian again mate... See you at Beaulieu is a couple of weeks....?
  9. All dead right..... …..And when comparing times to other cars, do remember that principle would similarly apply to those tests too...
  10. Not intended that way mate - just feeling for you...
  11. Nice one Andrew - all ready for Coventry then....
  12. I would too - just to ensure Joel could get his fine Zed there...
  13. Yup - whilst I have no interest in the football, and certainly am not watching it, I do still appreciate the feeling of national pride it's giving. Hell, all we hear in the news is doom and gloom (sounds like a song...) so a little optimism goes a long way. As for going out for a drive this evening.... I have to say that I would fail a breath test, so not such a good idea:oops: A nice bottle of white rioja to wash down the paella I prepared earlier, not to mention the San Miguel whilst cooking, would sadly render me unfit to drive until tomorrow.... And instead of the football, Julia & I have been watching an old episode of Lois and Clark... And now I'm on here, for shits and giggles.....
  14. Hey Joe (there's a song there...), we gain access to Millennium Place from 10am; so any time from then is fine. And yes, please do feel free to bring your other half along - she will be more than welcome:cool: Wives tend to wander off to the shops whilst we hold the AGM though - but they do join us for lunch...
  15. Sorry to hear that Joel..... Especially as we're hoping to gather interest for this year's NEC show at Coventry.....
  16. Very nice indeed Jeff.....
  17. Great pics - from what looked like a great trip Art..... Thanks for sharing mate...
  18. Yup - the Mk3 Supra was in competition with the Z31.... And pretty much bettered it in every way; which was not surprising, considering the time of the cars' conceptions. Z32 took the world by storm, for a Japanese performance car - hence as Dave says, Toyota went back to the drawing board and totally re-developed the Supra mk4 in order to compete with the Z32!!
  19. Yup - I say that indeed; because he sold it nonetheless...….
  20. Thanks Lee...…. …….And yes; that's it, in a nutshell....! Let's see what gets suggested next week at the AGM...
  21. Still a lovely car - even at £22.5k.... Thing is, I would love to know what the dealer paid for it.. Sadly, any one of us could have bought it directly from the chap who owned it - and saved on having to pay a car dealer's (inflated) profit margin!!
  22. Good luck to Lewis for the home GP tomorrow..... And good luck to England later in the week..... …..You know, if England make it to the final on Sunday, we might have to bring the AGM forward a little - so those who want to watch the game can set off early!
  23. Ones form Planet Rock this morning.....:punk:
  24. Probably my favourite song.....
