  1. Happy birthday Steve! Richard:happybday:
  2. Many happy returns mate!! Richard:happybday:
  3. Happy birthday Richie - have a great day mate....:happybday: Richard:cool:
  4. Yup - I like those too. I would....
  5. Z-Centre will do the proper Nissan '99-spec; not a fibre-glass special.... As will Mike at MJP! At current exchange rates, buying in the UK doesn't look so bad (well, comparing the '89 spec, from ACPF like for like with CZP). Especially when shipping and import duties are added.
  6. Nope...…. …..Because of this....!!
  7. Thanks for the insight Andrew - and congrats on the MOT pass.... Not that I'd have expected anything else from your fine Zed mate...
  8. Happy birthday for yesterday Bazz - hope you had a good one mate!! Richard:happybday:
  9. Nice one Gary - that's what I would have done, rather than attempt to alter the odometer! Richard:cool:
  10. Yup - dead right Art, we certainly do...…
  11. PMSL at Joel and Si..... But with regards the HICAS, as said above, the common MOT failure or advisory is down to worn rear steering joints. It's an easy fix, provided nothing else is wrong with the HICAS. Thing is, with the rarity of these cars now, many MOT testers won't actually know how the HICAS works. Easy to confuse it with other RWS systems, where the rear wheels also turn to aid low speed manoeuvring. This does not happen on the 300zx - it's purely a "cornering at speed" aid.
  12. LOL - yeah, right.... There is a passing similarity though; perhaps a 300zx/Puma/Pug 206 convertible hybrid......
  13. And if I wanted a Supra, I'd be looking at something like this..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-0L-Toyota-Supra-Turbo/263871865229?_trkparms=aid%3D888007%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D52945%26meid%3Dab488be7318e478c9fb62ed1999f9a3f%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D283116667493%26itm%3D263871865229&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982
  14. It's a Supra mate - not quite Z-related....
  15. Good luck Lee - and safe journey mate!
  16. LOL - any excuse to make Staines sound better.....
  17. Agreed - I did like The Dictator though.....
  18. Very nice Si - and you have to have the drivers' side spoiler or else your Zed is not complete....
  19. Ditto...…. …..And you have certainly confirmed that thought...:wink::lol:
  20. ^^^ The voice of (many years) experience...
  21. Good points mate - and duly taken on board by us for further discussion! For reference, the circumstances in this instance occurred around 9 years ago. We have previously announced that banned members could appeal to the committee after (I think) 12 months, to return to the club - and this was generally accepted by most as a step forward. People change, pencils have rubbers, [possibly] everyone deserves a second chance..... There will always be a few contentious requests; perhaps where a member was banned for something extremely serious - like ripping off several other members. In these circumstances, it may prove necessary to take into account the members' thoughts before allowing someone to return. Particularly if the committee cannot fully recollect the original reasons themselves - none of are getting any younger... Which is another reason why we maintain the ban log as a permanent record, just so we can all refer to it if necessary.
  22. Yup - what Jeff said..... …..Which is why I would only trust Jimmer to do mine nowadays...!!! I have watched Jeff do this - on my own Zed - and whilst he made it look simple, that was down to years of experience. Anything is easy if you know how; but it's just as easy to mess up - which could prove disastrous!!
  23. Welcome back Lee..... …...As the song says, it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life..... Richard:cool:
  24. Many happy returns Paul.....:happybday: Richard:cool:
