Mike, hard luck again , was the other driver pissed or something? Its worked out well tho , you can claim from his insurance now and drop the 1st claim on your own insurance. I reckon they'll try and spray just the damaged side , which isnt good enuff , so be forcefull and tell them u want complete respray , oh.. ask if u can have it yellow too.. :-)

I think its just the 4th to 5th synchro mate, but im no engineer either! Interesting to see its had one lady owner tho, i could imagine her changing upto 5th at every unnecessary opportunity! Shes w*nked it out!

geoff, see what u mean about the headlight bit, looking at the yellow one halfway down (nakano?) the lights have been replaced and one whole piece fits across from wing to wing, looks v.good too. Like the no rear spoiler look on that one too. U've got me thinking now.. :-)

just redd your new post above, double declutching is slow and u wouldnt want to do it all the time no, but it will tell u if the synchro's knackered. It can be knackered on that gear shift only and the rest will still be ok.

Hey eazy, i had same problem on an alfa, 1st to 2nd and 4th to 5th, like stu says try double declutch , it worked on the alfa and was synchromesh. Has it done alot of motorway miles? maybe 5th is worn? is it noisy in 5th?

Hey mark, surely they didnt get done for doing 32 and 31?? thats totaly outragous! Assuming the speed limit was 30 they cant get done for such a trivial amount over. They should have ignored the NIP , but its too late now, sadly. I saw that program and yes the transport minister has said he'll remove any cameras that dont fit the criteria. Just email details to ITV not BBC. The trouble is the criteria is heavily biased in their favour!! so they can continue extorting money. Not many things make me madder than these ****ers!! I like the sound of dark grey on black tim, still think red or silver as suggested is too standout ish. my fave would have to be small embroydered logo on sleeve and perhaps chest, in black and a simalar colour to the shirt , so u have to look twice to see what it is.

BTW i have an auto and a manual, love the auto, not as quick to 20 as a manual but after that great fun, especially kickdown when overtaking, as for the manual, well its great too but quite hard to read as some of the pages are in japanese. hehehe

Kia, it does sound like u have a small problem , it should pull away the same whether in D or 1. you sure its not stuck in hold? you should be able to tell easily what gear u are in , so when it pulls sluggish in D is it actually in 1st? Does the kickdown work correctly? If youre doing 20mph in D and floor it hard does it instantly drop to 1st and fly? It should. Maybe the kickdown needs adjusting , it used to be a cable on other cars ive had but have no idea if the Z has a kickdown cable or something electronic controlling it.

The one i saw was on a forecourt for sale in Bristol, dont know who made the kit sorry. I had to walk around it bout 5 times tho cuss it was gorjuss, they wanted 10k for it tho , bit much i thought. Agree with the wheel thing , stock would like shite on a wide arse.

lol @ gasmask Tim, i think the badge design is ok , but just needs to be half the size and maybe black and blue, something subtle. I would then go for the polo shirt and tee shirt with stripe.

Ive only ever seen one wide arse in the flesh (Z that is ...) and it looked absolutely gorjuss! Like you say , youve gotta go look at some. I dont know bout the wheels but would guess they space them out?

Hey Nigel, the good quality kits are good enuff to look like 'proper cars bodywork' so dont get cheap with rippled fibre glass flaws. Have u priced a kit up yet? Mine was done b4 i bought it but the parts were bout 2k but i dont have wide arches , that would add alot i would think. I have a mate in a the trade who says 2.5k to fit what i have and spray it. Dont know if thats good or bad but might give u an idea,

when you put your foot down the water pump is working faster and theres more cold air going thru the rad form the speed, so the engine over cools if thermostat doesnt close. when you slow down or stop in traffic the pumps going slower and theres not so much air thru rad so temp goes back up. I think its just coincidence that its started since you added the pink stuff.
