I was behind him on jnct 20 M5 roundabout. I think he thought he'd leave me standing, as we went down the slip road we went from 30 mph to 120 and he didnt pull an inch on me , i was quite chuffed :D ferrari performance at 1/10 price.

Think about joining the ABD, http://www.abd.org.uk Some ppl think its a waste of time but atleast we're trying to do something .

Do you have pics of the rear wheels too? What make and size of tyre do they have on? thanx

Yes arry is right, my Z is a second car and i had silly quotes off of Tesco and others , so i cancelled my 1st car policy and insured both cars fully comp with the same broker for £750 using full no claims on both . Bargain. ( my other is a v6 Alfa )

Srrae, nice pic lol, the tyre guy put my back wheels on same as that pic with the slopin bit at the front , so he's got lucky! It makes sense now u've said that about slicin the air, thanx. b19rks, my wheels get hot as fook after a hard session, i cant even touch them (why do i do that lol) but wheels either way round i think they'd get equally as hot , although maybe more air would go in towards the disc with the slopin bit at the back but thats the wrong way round :confused: :D

Ive noticed that the stock wheels appear to be handed n/s and o/s. I had new rear tyres today and the guy put the n/s rear wheel back on the rear o/s and viceversa. So now the shapes between the five spokes are pointing forward on the front wheels and backward on the rear wheels. They all pointed forward before. Not that it makes much difference but i was wondering which way they were supposed to be pointing ie. when the car left the nissan factory? Have a look at yours now!

Does anyone know exactly what damage would be done to the turbo's if you didnt let the car tickover for a few minutes after a hard drive? I have a turbo timer but never use it , i always cruise home easy for a couple miles and leave it runnin for 3 mins aswell, but what actually happens if you dont?

I have a bell 550 aswell, you can set it to detect what bands you want or delete them for less interference from traffic lights and automatic doors. Can also set different frequencies if you wanna use it in europe. It detects fixed gatso's pretty well too. They're about £350 to 400 now i think.

Eric, thats the same as the standard stall test for auto boxes tho isnt it? That doesnt do any harm so im told. Perhaps with a turbo engine tho.... its not advised lol

Nobody uses normal unleaded in their Z do they? I use optimax all the time now (its only 77p litre here) , same performance but v.slightly more to the gallon and its better than super un. at same price.

I thought bhp was measured at the road wheels. My mate (who's always right) says its measured at the crank, so the bhp measured on a rolling road would be alot less than 300 for a tt Z. Is he right again? :rolleyes:

I thought Z's all had yellow lights, havnt seen another one yet at night. They look really cool too but i dont think you can see very well on this pic.

Castrol rs 10/60 seems to be the most popular around here. I think 5/30 is a bit skinny mate :)
