Just got back from weston super mare, a sneaky copper nearly had me :nono: I was going along a dual carriageway with a silly 30mph speed limit, no one else around and was doin 45, then my detector starts shoutin 'lazer lazer'! I hit the brakes straight away and crawled along at 30, and sure enough about 1/3 mile up the road a sneaky coppers arm was pointing at me from behind a post with a radar gun! I gave him a big smile as i passed lol :D Had the detector about a year and its the 1st time its saved me, bless it :hyper:

Hi Ajay, it doesnt do that on our older models :-) Mines a '90 and fan has high or low. Set at 40 degrees you wont get any air flow thru the centre vents tho ccrxxx, so ya feet will boil and your hands will freeze! Econ switches off air con so saves juice yes, but all the windows steam up! as they do on 'rec' too.

wouldnt a slipping clutch slip loads tho? i mean if you floored it in 4th at say 30mph.

Hey mike, like u said cant be slipping clutch, revs would pick up not drop. Ive neva driven a manual Z , do they have a lock up or some sorta overdrive in 5th gear over certain revs?

Hi mate, The aircon works by pressing 'auto', simple! Press 'econ' to switch off aircon. 'rec' is recirculated air if you dont want fresh air from outside the cabin. The computer decides where to direct air flow on earlier models, depending on the temperature setting. Pain in the arse innit! Ive found if you set the temp to more than 20 degrees above the ambient temp the airflow goes to feet and slightly to windscreen, nothing form the middle vents. Set the temp to 20 degrees or less than the ambient temp to get air out the middle vents too. Got it ?!! :-)
