First problem
Is it an auto? Could it be something to do with the switch that wont let it start when its in drive?

Rust spot on wheel arch
The trouble is even a good DIY bodywork repair usually sticks out like a sore thumb. Are you gonna spray a small area or the whole arch? Can you match the colour perfectly? IMO its best left to a trusted bodyshop.

Bonnet Bulges
Mine are still in same place too. I cut off a wire from a wire brush to unblock and adjust the four jets.

I hate home fireworks
Just read that thread, so everyone hates fireworks being available to the public, ffs nanny society we live in. They're gonna ban smoking in ya car next , serious. How about lets all just stay in bed every day and not bother living.

I hate home fireworks

How Gay Are You???
36% so they say I see there's a few ignoramuses around! Lets remember you cant choose your sexuality or change it, i mean you cant choose what gives you a boner lol. Most gay people arent the stereotyped effeminate camp types you see on the tv, but average people - mechanics, builders, whatever.

Rotary Engines
I had an rx7 turbo11, its a 2.3 twin rotar, loved it! The last rx7 has a 2.6 twin rotary engine (2 x 1.3) Does the rx8 only have a 1.3 then? sure its not a 2.6? Anyone interested in buying an rx7, make sure its very low mileage or had a recon engine because the tips of the rotors do wear out usually around 70 to 100k miles. Recon is about 2k.

Overheating
The expansion pipe is the small diameter one just above the rad cap. Try pullin it off an blowin in it - the water in the expansion tank should bubble, then suck and you know its free to come back if you get a mouth full. If that works ok surely prob has to be faulty rad cap not opening under vacuum?

Bell Insurance
I used to be with Bell on another car, but when they quoted for the Z (import) they were way too high, about 800 quid , that's nearly twice as much as i pay now!

UK Rear Wheels vs J Spec - Why?
I changed from Jspec to uk rear wheels with bridgestone s02's. The tread in contact with the road is no greater on the new 245's than it was on the old 225's exactly as gio says. But the wheel sticks out an inch wider each side of the car and handling does feel even stabler now. Plus IMO they look better filling out the wheelarch.

heater
kmh - i was gonna post same question! Mine is exactly the same, blows loads in the footwells but not always from the centre vents, dont think it blows on the windscreen tho without hitting the demist button. Still dont understand why switching to econ makes it steam up even when its set to fresh air - it does tho, i thought only recirc would steam you up.

Front Wiper Length
Heya, I changed my wipers a couple weeks ago, now have a pair of 21" PIAA silicon ones, they were 50 quid but worth it , no more annoying squeeks or juddering!

Broken radiator
The actual rad is fine but started leaking from the top hose yesterday. So i unscrewed the jubilee clip from the top hose and pulled it off the rad and the bits of broken plastic from the rad inlet fell to bits! Maybe previous over tightened the jubilee clip, dunno. But i guess i need a whole new rad , so does anyone know the best place to get one? Thanks, Trev.

Proxes - not impressed !
Ive just put SO2 's on the back, what a difference ! They're like glued to the tarmac. Also the best looking and safest tyre ive seen , so solid with 2 ply sidewalls , i just hope they're not being discontinued?

Vote Conservative!
Ive never voted conservative before but i will do next time. Atleast they say they'll build much needed new roads and raise speed limits. Does anybody know what percentage of the UK workforce are civil servants under this government?

YOu cant tell me Women are safer drivers.
LOL what happens when you get women drivers at a mini roundabout? Ans - they all sit there and look at each other! they give way to the right and the left, funny. what happens when women drivers pass parked cars ? Ans- they give at least 8feet of clearance and force oncoming traffic to swerve into the curb. what happens when women drivers are following a slow moving tractor? Ans - they cause huge tailbacks because theyre terrified of overtaking . Just my honest observations - sorry to all competent women drivers.
