billynomates , i like ya name lol, i agree with what mark has said , i had a rover sd1 years ago , had exactly the same problem so i cleaned the strainer/filter and new fluid , everything was great.... for about three months! then it died completely. It could have been coincidence but like mark says its not a good sign. Cant see how climate would effect the inside of an autobox either. Hope it stays ok for u anyway :-)

Hey Math, Some on here say 0/40 is too thin. I use castrol RS 0/40 in the winter and 10/60 in the summer. So what have you done to your Z?

It cant be the wheel bearing again surely? Is there any play when u jack it up? Somethings obviously dry or worn, and it happens when spinning the wheel only, u dont even have to bounce it?

LOL, so they have scamera authorities over there too, just after your dosh under the pretence of road safety. Apparently the scamera vans here may actually be acting illegaly, as they're manned by civilians and not the police. Take them to court and they may have to drop the fine - a few cases coming up soon. The trouble is, if u like it loud it gives plod another excuse to stop you. Mines decatted with a huge rear box each side. They went a bit ripe so me and my mechanic remade them with the mig or stig? lol but they dont have much stuffing in now so quite barky. Real pig getting to the hangers/brackets behind the bumper too. Sounds great pulling at about 2700rpm , sort of sweet rumbley warble .

good question, they normally go in the boot dont they? but u want it in the cabin like u say if youre doin a mental track thrashing! what about the pouch on the back of the passenger seat, if its only a small one it'll slide in there.
