oil hasn't leaked and is still clean. would having an air lock in there cause it?

Hi all. After some advise again!! Just had an oild seal replaced on the rear of my sump. They had to drop the gearbox to do it. Anyway, I was driving home after picking it up when i heard a strange noise. Sounded like it was sucking air or something and also had a slight rattle. nearly got home when i lost all drive. may aswell have been in nuetral. had to push it a couple of hundred meters ( i was *#*#ed). Any ideas? It's obviously going back but don't want them pulling the old "that was nothing to do with us" ploy!

Hi all. Walked into Halfords yesterday and asked for 6 spark plugs for my 300zx NA. Should have seen the look on my face when the nice lady said i wouldn't have a lot of change out of £100 :shock: Does anyone know if there's anywhere i can pick them up cheaper?? Are they cheaper in the states as i'm off there in a couple of months? Cheers

the last bit of my journey is through a very tight road. with the car moving with just brake off the stearing becomes very heavy i.e 1 thousand revs at 10 mph. I'll go and have a look at the fuel pipes now. thanks for all your help.

Does anyone else have a petrol smell after switching off the engine? Noticed it tonight when i turned her off. also the stearing gets heavy if the cars at idol for more than a couple of minutes.

Done it! Got myself a 300zx at last :hyper: All instructions in jap. Could someone tell me what the overdrive, power, hold stuff on the gearbox is all about... :smw: Cheers
