Not much help mate but my Alfa does this too, only from the passenger side. Mechanic reckons it's something to do with the heating system/air con.
  2. Im thinking that removing the shroud would only help to cool the inner wings and nothing else! At high speed all that lovely cool air is wasted.
  3. Aol is grrreeeaaat!!!!!! Never had any probs, I couldnt believe what i was reading in this thread!! I guess you all have tried Aol then?? You can only speak as you find afterall . Ive been with them 3years and cant fault them, wouldnt want to change.
  4. Aol £29.99 (same price) unlimited 1152 kbps, never had any probs with them and some of the chatrooms are prety good too!
  5. No mate but i took my Z there when I first bought it - over £500 for a slight missfire! Ive found out now it was the temp sensor, but they did check everything out and replaced an O2 sensor too. They're quite expensive , didnt they give you a quote? I went there for an MOT last year and they failed it on front suspension, said they could do it for £250ish i think, thing is i knew there was nothing wrong with it! My mate runs a garage and checked the car over before i went for mot. Another garage passed it the next day. I'm not saying they dont do a good job mate because they do, but they try it on a bit aswell IMO. Sorry dont mean to scare you :-)
  6. £1070+VAT Are Protech doing it?
  7. This is gettin boring now lol, you are paying £3 to be added to a mailing list, legal. A simple chain letter is illegal yes. God i dont know how i got into this thread.
  8. LOL if i could make hundreds of thousands doing this i'd be doing it!! and it's all legal. Start one of your own lol. A con is a con and this aint one!
  9. Reckon you're right there scoops, opening window then draws it in.
  10. Call me stupid......surely if it only happens when the window's open it's coming through window?? Mine does that too, not much , praps when there's a strong wind blowing up your arse, what am I on lol
  11. LOL its only 3quid ffs! Billy , each participant is only interested in the first 6 steps, then the cycle ends. The reason it doesnt make you 10k is because the response rate is more like 1%, as we are all so sceptical :-)
  12. you didnt read the rules mate, you delete the top name then add your own at the bottom of the list and it works its way to the top , thats when you get the £3. So 5 ppl send out 40 emails with you at no 5, then 25 send out 40 with you at no 4, then 125 send out 40 with u at no 3 , then 625 send out 40 with u at no 2, then 3125 send out 40 with u at no 1 , payday!! 3125 x £3. The theory is good but it probs breaks down along the way due to cheats and greed.
  13. I wont be giving it a go! But only coss i cant be bothered lol. If everyone followed the rules there is no way it could not work, it's deffo not a scam just an email chain letter which is legal. Fair play to 'em.
  14. da-catted before i bought it 16 mnths ago, original tubs, no probs
  15. Anyone? please. Nobodys ever changed a p/s pump?
  16. Hi all! Anyone know if changing the p/s pump is easy?! The pulley on mine kind of spins its way out about 1/4 inch then clicks back in, I poked it with a screwdriver today and it came out more and started Peeing out fluid , oops! Does this mean it's knackered or can just the pulley be replaced with a new seal i assume? Any advice appreciated :-) Cheers,
  17. I've had caliper creak for several months now and have tried everything, the creak's still there! I'm expecting it to one day dissapear as mysteriously as it started. I've had the calipers examined coss they sound so dodgy, but everything's fine.
  18. sweet! I love little races like that, did the same against a ferrari back along and an Invecta, much fun :-)
  19. LOL thanks mate , I'll miss it like mad but it's time for a change. Local lad from Weston might be buying it so i'll still see it around. Im thinkin about a Mitsi 3000gt (facelift model) in red but they're so hard to find, it's gotta be something special :-) Cheers,
  20. Im selling my Z, it's time for a change - maybe another Z dunno yet. Is it worth putting it on ebay or are prices too low, anyone else sold their Z there? Cheers,
  21. Thnx guys - sorted :-)
  22. Jesus Mark! It's not good to let your tyres wear down to the canvas mate!
  23. AVG identified a trojan horse virus on my pc and also said it couldnt be removed  It's called 'Dialer.8.u' in temp internet files, has anyone heard of it and do i need to remove it? Thanks,
  24. Throw it in the bin mate where it rightly deserves to be! Failing that you could take a look at http://www.pistonheads.com and click on forums, then 'speed, plod and the law'. There are some interesting threads there, i remember one recently about a guy who tried the 'relative from abroad was driving' response to the NIP, he had lots of questions from the police but end result was good for him - no conviction. Try a search , if you cant find it post here and i'll find it for you later, Cheers,
  25. :slap: Yep, they have to make it as real as possible even if it means innocent public getting killed, I expect the police van giving chase had to catch the cavalier to issue a dummy speeding ticket, training for this is essential police policy.
