CLICKING CALIPER igiveup
Anyone have any ideas about my ongoing clicking caliper please? Front n/s caliper clicks very loudly - a bit like flicking an empty beer tin with your finger nail. It's not too bad when cold but gets loud after a couple miles. If im stationary and press the pedal all the way down hard, caliper clicks about 15 times from top to bottom of pedal travel, you can feel the clicking in the caliper with your hand on it. I've taken the pads out and the pistons are very free - push one back in and the opp side comes out easy. They deffo aren't seized. I cant see any point in changing the piston seals as they move freely. They dont click when the pads are out , only when there's pressure on the pedal. I've changed the pads and tried it with the four shims left off and still the same so it isn't those. Any more ideas? Cheers,

Tyres
I have F1's all round and have to agree with the Bridgestone boys here; The SO2's i had before were the best for grip, that is untill they wear low then they lose grip - harder base compound.

Black Metal Trim Fade
I use Armorall on mine and most other plasticy bits. It amazes me how many ppl polish their cars, get them in showroom condition and leave the tyres looking grey/scuffed/patchy/blotchy/old! One minute spent on each tyre with Armorall and they look brand new - I dont mean sickly shiny like some showrooms do, just a deep black sheen. Ooops I've changed subject :-)

Tim Henman?

Typical speed camera abuse..........
I can understand speed enforcement in built up areas especially housing estates which often have cars parked both sides of the road, not saying i like it but it is justifiable IMO, aslong as they dont abuse it to catch drivers just over the limit, but unfort' they do to pay for the exercise. Motorways , DC's, A roads are where the scammers really take the piss.

ebay, quite reasonable
Worth a go tho as he can withdraw near the end if the bids aren't there. I reckon he'll get what he wants, like it or not alot of effort gone it to that Z, gotta be worth 7+ :-)

Bushes........Brazilian and others!!!!
Mine failed an MOT for worn upper link bushes. I had it on a ramp and couldnt find any play at all ,spent ages trying to feel atleast something but nope, although the tyre wears a bit but I put that down to camber. So I took it to another MOT tester and it sailed straight through! Cheers,

ne1 heard of these...
A few years ago I got caught by one of those, cant remember the name but I expect they change their business names quite often anyway. I paid them 75 quid and they said they'd advertise car in autotrader till it sold, like a 'nobber' lol I agreed. They never advertised it, so I got trading standards on to them who tried and failed to get me a refund. They said the people were uncontactable. So when they phone next Nelson, ask for my refund mate! Cheers,
