  1. It's done when it's done when it's done ;) I'm holding Steve up at the moment as things are being finalised for the V8 conversion. We're staying fairly true to the original mock-up although the eventual paint scheme may end up being different. No 99 spec lights I'm afraid as I can't stand 'em! As the unenlightened say, it's "caravan lights" I'm afraid  (good enough for the Zonda, good enough for me ;)) Love it or hate it, we're hoping the end result will be something totally different. Cheers for the kind words matey :) Oh...and yes, the Trafficstars are staying...;)
  2. Happens to me as well! Thought it might have happened to the resurrected "Is there a God" thread but after some searching it doesn't seem to have become a victim of this bug...it's been deleted instead! Lol! :wack:
  3. It's a shame there isn't a model report as there are quite a few tasty late Z32's over there that I've been offered. If you're dead set on getting one it would be worth looking into registering it in another country before bringing it into the UK...not something I would do but might be a few loopholes to be exploited...
  4. Never had one of those! I'm guessing the needle may be a bit uncomfortable if you don't like 'em but I'm the rest will probably be just a few tingles as they run the current through to test how well the muscles are working? Hope it goes ok for you chap :)
  5. Call it a Z32 and be done with it...just enough for people who don't know to go "Ahhh" then not ask any more about it's make for fear of looking stupid but also just enough for people who do know something about cars to recognise it's Z car heritage. Job done. :D
  6. I love the fact that the swear filter still has a paddy over S****horpe :wack:
  7. Bizarrely I only saw one the other day (in red) in Solihull Touchwood centre car park. Didn't half make me do a double take! A chap on the Z Club says that he only knows of two registered in the UK. Nice car and a damn good price for something a bit different.
  8. Can be pretty unsettling when you first have one. (Hope whatever you had it for isn't too bad matey...:( ) It got stranger for me after my last one when, after they wheeled me back to the ward, they told me they were about to feed a ruddy long wire through my arm into the top of my heart...while I lay there wide awake! Bleaurgh! :wack:
  9. Oh my.... Erm...like Dave said, I can appreciate the work (which must have cost ££££'s !) but it's a bit OTT (ok, a LOT OTT!) for my liking. It's the shot where every door, bonnet and boot is open that is scrambling my brain...it looks as if it's either about to "transform" or it's just had a small explosive device go off inside! With everything shut it actually looks good IMO...but the camber, the CAMBER...oh the humanity! :wack:
  10. A bit later than expected matey (can burn the bigger originals to disc when I see you Saturday if you like :)). Must take some better close-ups of the hose/pump!
  11. Great link Tony! Exactly what I was looking for to incorporate into my install. Was speaking to a chap at Autosport International about the wireless bullet cams and they're a crackin' piece of kit :)
  12. Not quite...Bluestreak was based on the 280ZX. Prowl was the Z31 :) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76051 (post #8)
  13. Well, after some thought I decided to go for my original choice, the Aiptek Mini Pocket DV8900...the Nikon Coolpix is a good point and click camera but since I already own a D70S I was really looking for something that was a bit of fun, the archetypal boys toy...and Sweet Jesus and All the Little Orphans it's fantastic! It's ridiculously tiny (the size of a cigarette packet) and the DV video is excellent! It's no Blair Witch-esque DV film camera but that's not what I wanted. It has the essentials ie image stabiliser, EV adjustment, adjustable white balance, night mode, multi and panoramic shoot (all stills can be labelled with voice notes), SD compatible, a few effects bunged in etc and on top of that it moonlights as a very competent MP3 player, memory storage device, dictaphone, webcam, I can record TV/DVD onto it and to top it off I can easily mount it in the Z! Crackin' stuff, and for £129.99, definately a bloody good buy. Now all I have to do is persuade my girlfriend to help give it a trial run tonight to test recording in "low-lighting" conditions... :wack: :D ;)
  14. Now that's dedication! Lol! :D Still got it tucked away somewhere [rosetintedspectacles] ...ahhhh...Speedball 2, Xenon II (well, anything by the Bitmap Brothers really!)...halcion days... [/rosetintedspectacles] Thank the lord for emulators! ;)
  15. And a few more: Southwestzmech: they got a podium place but don't ask me which one! :D ;)
  16. Still remember the old Commodore Amiga "Guru meditation" error from back in the day! :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Meditation
  17. Definately looks like it (particularly noticeable when they're heading into the first turn after the home straight in Part 1). Glad you like them chaps :)
  18. A couple of vids (parts 1 & 2) of the Japanese Daytona Racing Z32 thrashing it round the track. Enjoy :)
  19. Lol! Meet you halfway! :D Loving Nikon ATM (got the D70S amongst other things! ;)) Just going to have a read through this and mull it over: http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews_nikon_coolpix_7600.php Cheers for the pointer chap! :)
  20. Off to Barcelona next week for my 30th and quite fancy getting an inexpensive DV camera to film stuff while I'm there. I'm seriously thinking about buying this tomorrow: http://www.loadsmorestuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=972 the Aiptek Mini Pocket DV8900. Just spent over a grand on new camera equipment so really looking for something that's just a fun gadget rather than a semi-pro set-up and this seems to be up to the job (and falls into my £200 or under price bracket...I can get this one for £129.99 all in). Any thoughts guys? If anyone can recommend a better DV camera for this kind of money I'd be interested in hearing what it is...all input gratefully received! :) Leigh
  21. Will do when I get back tonight bud :)
  22. Wasn't a fan of the cartoon but LOVED the original transformer toys...still have 'em all tucked away somewhere! The best o' the bunch were: Bluestreak http://www.tfu.info/1984/Autobot/Bluestreak/bluestreak.htm Hound http://www.tfu.info/1984/Autobot/Hound/hound.htm Wheeljack http://www.tfu.info/1984/Autobot/Wheeljack/wheeljack.htm but Ratchet was sh1te! http://www.tfu.info/1984/Autobot/Ratchet/ratchet.htm  :wack: ;)
  23. Meh. Prefer a nice pair of pins myself... Phwoarr..... :wack:
  24. Great polishing job there Dave. Not a fan of the polished OEM look as I think I've already said before but your ride is still going to look very, very good when it's all done and dusted :)
