Sweet Jesus and All the Little Orphans....somebody fetch me a loaf of bread and a family size bottle of HP, it's butty time!

Out of interest, what's the price range on these?
  3. Rock 'n' roll! :D Just don't tell me anyone tried fitting a foil wrapped cucumber down their trollies or discussed having a papier mache replica of stonehenge made for set dressing, ok? :wack: ;)
  4. Lol! Thought it was a bit weird when we got talkin' round your gaff a while back mate! (lucky sod for knowing Kate Bush...she was a hottie back in the day ;) BTW, check out Placebo's cover of Running Up That Hill...tremendous :D) pk1: Si! Totally forgot about your talents behind a desk! (mixing that is...:D). Fancy helping out a couple of struggling muso's sometime? Will clean dishes for studio time! :wack: :D ;)
  5. Yes and yes. Technically in two. I do all my stuff with my best mate of about 20 years. He works with me on my project, "The Few" (guitar/electronica) and I work with him on his, more beats orientated "Del Piero". Funnily enough I was going to post asking if anyone had any connections with recording studio's. We're both into home recording (him more so than me...generally use his set-up!) but I'd like to get some studio time in about 2 months with an engineer on hand to lay down drum tracks and keep it all together. After years of being in hospital I'm now finally well enough to really give this thing a good go so I recently got back in contact with a guy I was in another band with at school (the most phenomenal left handed guitarist...very Jimmy Hendrix!) and he's interested in coming along and doing some freebie session work (I'm a bit sentimental about stuff like that, would be nice to do it with the guys I started with :)) so just need a cheap/free studio now! (If there's such a thing! :( :))
  6. DaFox: Any more than a six note run and it all goes t1ts up for me anyway! Lol! :wack: ;) Yup, the USB is mainly for recording (two different algorithms for each effect type, one for live performance and one for direct recording). Patch editing and storage is all in-built. Some more info here mate: http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g21u/ Rainbow ZTT: Nice  Post up the SG if you can mate would be good to see more of your stuff! Massive repect to anyone that has the craftsmanship to make a decent guitar. I was asked a couple of times to paint a guitar with a design of my choosing (I'm an artist...feel free to insert the word "p1ss" at your leisure...:D) but never did do them in the end!
  7. Rage Against The Machine: Killing in the Name Of. NIN: The Perfect Drug Marilyn Manson: The Fight Song Fischerspooner: Emerge Smashing Pumpkins: absolutely anything :D ;) Agree with Placebo, though maybe not Nancy Boy, heard it a few too many times. 36 degrees maybe...saying that I'm liking Infra Red and Meds off the new album. Whatever it is, it needs to be LOUD (all the way up to 11... :wack: ;))
  8. Liking the workmanship but never been a fan of a headless. I'm a Gibson fan through and through so guess I'm biased! SG please...though wouldn't say no to a classic Les Paul ;)). Oh and the best piece of kit I've had in years is the ZOOM G2.1u. Absolutely phenomenal sounds and incredible amp simulation. Plus it's fully USB compatible. Oh, and you can use it to tune up...Lol! ;) :D
  9. There's always one with a silly hat...and now I know it's you!!  ;) Bloc Party, Editors and Radiohead a definate thumbs up. The Charlatans...still not convinced about their new stuff. The rest would be ok I guess (The Feeling bang out a nice tune or two)...but Paul bloomin Weller! The guy was a genius but now nothing more than a grumpy old fart churning out MOR cr@p IMO *runs for cover* Lol! :D Was watching the festival on the box and you could've knocked me for six when I heard Kula Shaker were there! Kasabian described them best saying they were great because they reminded them of school...remember doing my A-levels when they were still triumphant (before the whole Nazi Flag comments by Crispin which he probably wouldn't want bringing up again! :D).
  10. Kirbz, I'm in the same boat as you. Originally went for the smoothed rear look but now thinking I may have to find a functional spoiler to use with it. The thoughts I've had on the subject so far are: 1. Adjustable APR carbon "pylon" spoiler. Not really to my taste but the higher end models have been aerodynamically tested. Nowhere near as good as testing it on the car but then I don't have £10,000 for an hour in a wind-tunnel! :D 2. Chopped down "pram handle" style spoiler. Non-adjustable though :( 3. Koenigsegg CCX "Top Gear" style spoiler. Lower profile but effective. 4. Custom. Design my own and make it. Wouldn't be able to test the thing but could at least factor in as much as possible whilst still ending up with something that I like the look of.
  11. 1) 1999 Aston Martin DB7, Mary. 2) 1962 Aston Martin DB1, Barbara. 3) 1999 Bentley Arnage, Lindsey 4)...... Roll on #47... :D
  12. 19's...oh and I happen to be selling two 19" alloys +tyres, all new and unused, from one of the most sought after makers at the moment as well...: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=78080 ;) :D
  13. Seriously mate, don't worry about it. There is no reason at all why you can't use this system on the high-ways and by-ways as it were :)
  14. Very tasty indeed Mark :) Should set the car off a treat!
  15. You have the Type Flex system (compatible with TEIN's EDFC electronic controller (ie the levels of damping can be adjusted in-car) See: http://www.tein.co.uk/ for more information. It's a good system, not in the same league as say Aragosta's but still very bloody good. I now have a TEIN set-up myself :) taff: Type HA's have 16 levels of adjustable damping.
  16. The brakes will sell like hotcakes on the 200sx forum mate. Might have to drop the price a touch as I seem to remember they go for between £150-200 (think I sold mine for £150 in the end for a quick sale). Sounds like you've done a fair bit already chap, good on ya! Best of luck with the sale of the rest of the parts! :)
  17. Would've done mate but I couldn't say no to the price on these. I can strip/beadblast and refinish them myself so they'll look brand new and as far as a rebuild is concerned like I said it's only a back-up plan, the chap I bought them off is a top bloke and a good mate of mine so any major problems I can return them. Did that guy have yours in the end mate? ;)
  18. It's approx £150+VAT per damper (dependent on condition and what needs doing) with an approximate 6 week turnaround. It's not essential that I get mine done and the refurb is just a back up plan at the moment.
  19. It's likely the best solution however would be nice to have a Plan B to compare them with :)
  20. Might need a set of TEIN HA's refurbished. TEIN UK can overhaul them but could anyone else recommend or know of a company that would also do the job? Cheers, Leigh
  21. Lol! As soon as I saw the subject I was going to post that! Haven't done the whole festival thing since my 4 Glastonbury's back in the 90's. My best mate (and honorary brother! Lol!) and I have decided to revisit it next year (there's an outside chance that the Smashing Pumpkins will have reformed long enough to play a couple of UK gigs so I'll be remaining on full alert :D). Still remember the first time I experienced the Glasto portaloos and developing PTTS...post traumatic toilet syndrome! Oh, the humanity! :D
  22. Ladies and gentlemen, the latino Dale Winton! :D ;)
  23. After speaking to Dan today I think it might pay people to hang fire for a bit instead of lookig further afield as he may be able to sort everyone out very nicely with these if all goes well ;)
  24. Lol! Crikey, I don't really want to think about it! ;)
  25. I'm not going to go into this now but I'm guessing (from your mention of faith) that you see this issue as very black and white, whereas I see it as a very grey area with no absolutes. But don't make the mistake of confusing that by acknowledging the grey areas negates my "belief" in respect and love. The two are not mutually exclusive. But I imagine, with your standpoint, that we will have to agree to disagree on this point. ;) Anyhoo, back to sexy Russian Brides :wack: :D
