  2. Yeah, him as well! Lol! :D
  3. Now that's just wrong. :wack: :nono:
  4. Russell Grant (the comedian rather than the tubby camp astrologer for those of a certain age...;)) was right: face like a ball-bag. Mind you, I agree in theory on the bumming but would have to place her in a bag weighted with some bricks and throw her into the river afterwards.
  5. Lol, Don't mind at all Mark ;) :D fusion.wind, mail me at: friday76@lycos.com I bring stuff in from Japan usually and can deffo put you in touch with a good firm :) Leigh
  6. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=22138 http://www.mjpauto.com/ ;)
  7. If you're going to be doing any kind of bodywork, custom or otherwise, I strongly suggest you go here: http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/ I order from them regularly and TBH I wouldn't use anyone else. HTH Leigh
  8. Mike Feeney is an official Stillen agent (see his Traders area!) and a top bloke to boot so might be worth giving him a bell.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_rod http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/113_0503_vintage_drag_racing_hot_rods/rat_rods.html :D There used to be a 2.8 Capri round our way that was a quintissential "rat" car...matt black, always dirty as hell with corroded alloys, black furry dice and a multitude of bumper stickers...but Christ it could shift! ... ... ... But there's still no excuse for the monstrosity above! :D
  10. Will be trying this tonight...cheers Si :D
  11. Cheers Dave. Yup, I saw that option when I googled it but was hoping there might be a more basic solution that I could use with the image I already have on normal paper and save me a trip into town as I'm a lazy bugger with short arms and deep pockets! :D ;)
  12. Well said. He seemed to be a very open, honest and caring guy that, despite the bad press, cared so much for his family, friends and his work. He'll be sadly missed :(
  13. Very random question: Need to do a quick and dirty print onto a T shirt from an colour image made on my computer printer. The colour repro doesn't need to be spot on as I'll be using fabric paint on top of it. Anyone know what I could use to make the copy? Tried the missus' Acetone free nail polish remover but the image is too faint. Are there any household products that might do the job? Ta! :D
  14. Now that's the way to do it...:D
  15. But if the chrome is knocked and/or flakes the whole thing will need recoating. If you're careful, any small scratches can be taken care of in situ with a polished plenum.
  16. As a weekend thing for a bit of fun, I like that. Let's face it, unless all six numbers come up, none of us could really justify a Zonda and as loath as I normally am to like copycat cars (the "Ferrari" MR2 makes me wince every time I see one) I actually like this one. A lot. I'd be interested to see if they put the kit into production...;) :D

PMSL!...Bugger.  :p deve8uk: don't think you're quite grasping the magnitude of the build old chap. As John alluded to, not only are we transplanting a VH each (cue much head scratching, a mountain of fabrication work and the inevitable waiting around for it to be done) but my car has literally been stripped to it's shell and the bodywork that's being undertaken is totally custom. The only "off the shelf" parts are the Veilside wing mirrors and 99 spec front bumper and even those are being changed! And I haven't even mentioned the interior build..... I have all the time in the world for this one. It's a once in a lifetime build for me and I can't envisage ever doing the same again TBH. "Measure twice. Cut once". If you're going to do it, do it right. Pete: Lol! Having to make time for the paintings to pay for the bleedin' car! :D ;)
  19. Wow, those sincerity lessons have really started paying off! :D ;) Well, you can now both wait till I post them up on here (Christ, it's going to be a bleedin' anti-climax when I do! There's only so much enthusiasm and excitment you can work up for a bit of amateur fibreglassing... ;) )
  20. If you ask...nicely...I might send something your way... :wack: ;) :D
  21. Ha-ha. Apologies again Clarkey-san. Seem to remember you didn't end up doing too badly out of it though £'s-wise ;)
  22. Cheers both ;) Will be getting stuck back into it tomorrow all being well. Will take some photos when I've ironed out the "slight" problem Mr Bunny :D
  23. Bugger. Bugger. Bugger. Bugger. The good news is, the first mould went really well, came out a treat and looks great...the bad news...somewhere along the line I made a massive booby and both sides are out by about 10cm! Arse. Think it's an easy fix with a couple of "inscisions" either side followed by some careful bending and bracing but it's a PITA nonetheless. At least this was the trial copy which I'd always planned to fettle before making the final...though not quite as much as I now have to! But on the positive side I think it REALLY looks good on a Zed, better than I'd hoped TBH...perseverantia and all that :) Bodywork is hard.
  24. I am very, very jealous. Exactly what I'd go for. Well, that or a pre 2001 NSX :D
