  1. You're quite a moody bugger these days aren't you? Lol! :D ;) I've never been a big fan of side panels and doors that have huge lines added but for some reason the overall look of that car is amazing. IMHO of course  ;)
  2. BTW, if you want to see more of the Curve Z32, click here ;)
  3. Next year there will be a brand new wide arch kit being released for the Z32 from a homegrown UK company. It will be unlike any other kit seen before, taking its influence from both the DTM and Japanese GT series. This kit will include both front and rear arches, sideskirts and front and rear bumper extensions. ;)
  4. Wouldn't use anyone else, his work is second to none :) He's handling a lot of the fabrication for the V8's (JD and I also persuaded him to do the conversion himself! :D)
  5. About to send you a PM mate! :)
  6. JD and I decided to go down a similar route as we were fed up with gauges littered all over the dash and interior. Not only do they look cluttered but when you're driving hard you need everything as much in your line of sight as possible, otherwise it distracts from the road. I'm hopefully fitting my Knock-Link in the pod but need to see exactly where with my Tech Edge Wideband O2 sensor will go!
  7. Cheers bud, very much appreciated, it's friday76@lycos.com Muchos, muchos thanks! :) Manta: been mulling over the very same gauges for the past 2 years matey. They are very nice indeed ;)
  8. Very, very impressive. John and I are doing a similar conversion for the V8 project. After seeing that photo I'm swaying towards using a digital display though. Don't suppose you'd be willing to mail me the template you used...? ;) :)
  9. Depending on your budget you can get any colour you want! Not sure about "off the shelf" but you could get one custom mixed. If you're serious about getting it done then have a chat to Steve at Bodywork Plus (number is in his Traders section on here) and say I sent you :) Leigh
  10. It probably is. He might have bumped the saturation in Photoshop. Looks like he has to me.
  11. Well done for going your own way and doing what you want to do. If you're happy that's all that counts. Personally I'd rather stir-fry my own testicles than do that to a Z32 but that's just me. BTW, please don't put pink or chrome rims on it. Black or very dark silver would probably be best. But hey, what the hell do I know! ;)
  12. The interior is a f*cking abortion, definately a Kash-esque monstrosity (as a friend of mine says, he has a guage to monitor how many guages he has...;)) as are the rear light slats, rear pram handle and the nasty "stuck on" bonnet vents. Everything else I kinda like and could easily live with (though I'd get the gold alloys redone in silver).
  13. Re: the first kit...the rear end isn't my cup of cha at all but the front is very nice (at least from that angle).
  14. Thinking about it, I'm probably going to put the whole thing on my own site when the car is finished...so, to quote a friend, that'll be around 2050 at current work rates! :D ;)
  15. Lol! It helps being a partial insomniac! :D ;)
  16. Because I disagree entirely. A few well place swage lines accentuate the smoothness of other areas and I think those around the lights suit the shape I'm going for. If it's all smoothed in it ends up looking like something out of a jelly mould.
  17. If you want to assess the situation more clearly Mike it might be more enlightening to pull and post the ban logs for the last year (or even two years to be thorough) to plot increases/decreases.
  18. For those that might be interested (all one of you ;)) I've posted my old journal back on line: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/journal.php?do=showjournal&j=18&page=1&pp=10 There's a whole heap of things that have been done since the last entry and I'll try and get round to posting up a progress report as soon poss. :) Leigh
  19. The Academy is my second home. In there most Friday nights for Ramshackle. Beck rules. Full stop. Been a fan from way back. The new single rocks but still loving E-pro at the moment ;)
  20. Saw them at the Academy in Birmingham before they "broke"...tres bien indeed...and the guitarist is possible posher than Prince William.
  21. Bizarrely, "Killing Loneliness" by H.I.M. (video on Kat Von D's website, by way of WinkyTiki's links page, a pin-up photographer who I admire for his cahones :D....mmmmmmm....Kat Von D, my ideal woman...;))

  23. FVck you, fVck you very much! (aaaah...Falling Down ;))
