Just want to crongratulate Leon on the top notch job he's just done on the exhaust he made for my bro's Micra turbo. As usual a top job.

Was there on Friday with GrahamS, he mentioned he had a big power Micra coming in. Did a superb job on mine, due back in the new year to get the front pipes and possibly manifolds done.

Wouldn't use anyone else, his work is second to none :) He's handling a lot of the fabrication for the V8's (JD and I also persuaded him to do the conversion himself! :D)

Shame you didn't get one of the downpipe off the car, was a fantastic piece of work. A car using Leon's manifolds won its class at Le Mans this year, top work.

No, the one on the Micra, divorced downpipe with several compound bends on it. Really good to see that quality of work being done.

Can't wait to see my manifolds when they're finished, got 8m of 44mm OD tube to get in there!

Yeah, one of the few real craftsmen around doing that sort of stuff. Should have seen the powerflow exhaust off the micra next to the one he did. There is just no comparison.

Wouldn't trust anyone else to do this sort of work now.

Nice one John. In fact I have a few pics of old "stainless" powerflow exhaust which was supposed to have a lifetime guarantee but had 6 holes in and has been repaired by them before and they just lobbed some gunk and a bandage on it. It also always banged under the car. He's also had it re-mapped to 1.1bar. It now wheel spins in 4th in the wet even with the AP racing LSD. :shock:

Great isn't it! Can't believe they just gunked it when it blew. To be completely fair, its 904SS which is sort of 1/2 stainless so it would probably last a few years. The bends and welding are absolutley terrible though!
