Ok,

My car is a crap colour (unless its just cos it looks old) and im going to be sorting out the rust on the arches very soon so i might as well get it sprayed at the same time.

Now im really stuck on what colour i want for it, i personally love black cars which i think looks great on a zed for example zelda,

I normally dont like red but i think it looks good on a zed.

I also like the blue that is on Jason Farrows zed and getgreddy's.

I think certain white ones look the dogs danglies such as paul g's which is probably my favourite zed.

Also i will be looking to go wide arch eventually but at the minute i just want to know what colour to go for as a stand in until then but i want a really nice looking car.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what colours i should choose????

Example pictures always helps :D

Or would it be better to just give it a once over in the current colour.

I'd whack a 99 spec bumper on the front and spray it up the same colour, i think it'd look pretty good and save you a load of money too! :D

Have to agree with BantamBunny there. Get yours mopped or whatever by a proper paint shop and it'll bring it up nice.

Black is great but really shows the dirt. Mine's Skyline Purple which looks almost like black and it shows the dirt too - looks great in the sun when it is clean though.

Deffinately. Yours is Saphire blue isn't it? A gorgeous colour if the paint were to be renovated. Take the car to an auto detailer who will use a collection of mop heads and grades of cutting compounds to bring the paintwork up to near-new standard. I've seen some amazing results from some pretty poor paintwork.

Once done, you'll be able to see what needs doing and what doesn't.

Save your money Bird, if you are going to wide arch it in the future then you will have to cut out arches so whats the point in getting them repaired now to destroy them later.

Get it mopped now and see what you think, but remember SILVERis the best colour :D

When fresh it looks quite nice but its an understated (dare I say it sort of an old mans) colour. I would wait for the wide arch convesion and then go for red (cos its fastest lol) or maybe black

I said SILVER damn you

Why not go for Pink.................................

Red is by far the best. Never seen a wide arch in red, but I bet it looks great.

Obviously you've never seen MAC 1's car then. lol Also Yami has a SWB N/A wide arch Strosek kit and Bee Gee Vinz has a blinged up LWB wide arch.

The whole car looked lovely in the flesh. You just need to get yours sorted which is probably flat and misserable. That Zed just glowed and looked even better in the flesh as all pearls/metallics do.

Thats a good idea . . . Doh!!!

I love how everyone who knows whats going on keeps prompting me to tell all on the forum

I actually heard back from the solicitor the other day and he wants to know if i want him to send another letter asking if he wants to settle out of court or if i just want to go straight to county count so i think it'll just be straight to court to be honest but im not too sure.

The reasons the guy gave as to why its none of his responsibility were checked out at an independant zed specialist and basically none of it would have been the cause of the engines low compression.

Dont know if there'd be any point in dragging it out sending another letter as i dont know what he would do.

It's an odd colour, in sunlight it looks great, other than that it is not what you would call bright.
