99-spec rear wing. What's your opinion on them?
Stillen Type III's. The best off the shelf sideskirts IMO. Had them on mine before I went custom:

How much have you put into your zed?
I've definately spent more than I'd planned to with the Z32 but the insidious thing about the spending is that it's a bit at a time...a couple of hundred here, a thousand there. Smaller payments are easier to justify (read: convince yourself about i.e. whatever get's you through the night ;)) and on the surface are much easier to swallow than stumping up the money you'd need for another car. Bottom line is, if you're into modifying cars you become very adept at fooling yourself (not to mention the little lady ;)). The tricky thing is, knowing when to say enough is enough. Invariably it leaves you with two options: either sell up and move on (with the inevitable loss) or more positively, say I'm happy where I'm at now and just enjoy the fruits of your labour.

How F***ing much
Unfortunately very, very true! Mark I can really sympathise buddy. JD and I started adding things up (not just the V8 but everything that's been or being done) the other week and I nearly had a coronary! I know you've got big plans for the look of your Zed but maybe hang fire on these for a while and just enjoy her for a bit before taking the plunge again? Saying that, I would never say no to a Noble...;)

Wow sexy 300ZX!
Right, time to go against popular opinion. I think it's more than a good attempt, the level of work and the sheer amount of custom fabrication is astounding, this is not just an variation on the theme of an existing kit it's completely one-off and "props" to them for that alone. I DO think they f*cked up the styling but not by as much of a margin as people think. With a few design changes this could've been a great looking car. The front (IMO) is pretty darn good but needs to lose the silly grill. It's the back end and the door swage lines where it really goes to pot. Lose these and add some bigger and better wheels and (again IMHO ;)) it transforms the look of the car. Below is a quick photochop of what I mean:

So...paint.
Mate, like I said before, I'm not particularly talking about my car, just paint schemes in general! TBH I don't think I'd have it for mine anyway. Oh, and you're wrong about it looking awful. Lol! :wack: :D ;)
-
So...paint.
Satin I like a lot. Chrome effect is stunning but I think it's better for smaller surface areas like bike bodies or pin stripe-ing.

So...paint.
Two tone can look absolutely fantastic if done right (James300 is spot on). If it's good enough for Bugatti, it's good enough for me...though might not be going for it with my own project ;) Mr Bunny, you're spot on...really liking the dark purple on the last two at the moment: Although the paint scheme for mine is in the back of my mind I was really just interested in seeing what people like/dislike or would go for if they could have whatever they wanted! :)

hes arrived!!!
Congratulations mate!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

So...paint.
Right, thinking outside the standard Zed paint scheme box and the "my colour is faster than your colour" b*ll*cks, what I'm interested in talking about is which car colours people like, paint jobs that have impressed you on cars (any make/model), what they think would look good on the Z32 etc etc preferably with photo examples if you fancy posting them up. If you could have any paint scheme, what would it be? Leigh
