I had a Bluapunkt which was quite punchy, but i guess as an under the seat unit, they all pretty much do the same and designed in a similar way, down to clarity really and frequency handling. Im sure they wouldnt recommend an inferior product as an alternative

It will work just fine.

I took mine out and in with the box on, so much easier than messing about on our back struggling with the gearbox, you will need to undo the steering knuckle and drop the subframe a couple of inches. You will need to take it slow and careful not to damage your new paint lol, in, down a bit, in down a bit until its in, will help if you have another pair of hands with you.

Rolandas got his from JoelyP or Bantumbunny iirc and were green lcd, the ones Luke does are available from Europe somewhere, im sure someone will have the link. With Lukes ones they are plug and play i believe and ready to go rather than having to deal with any wiring or converting, but im with you there on the price.

No, i got stopped twice for having the number plate in the window, didnt get a fine but would have if i had played Jack the lad to the coppers. I too have a 99 spec, but i shaved the plate holder for the smoother look, but had to stick it back on in the same place for now to avoid unwanted attention. One of the reasons the copper gave, was ANPR camera cannot pick it up at that height. The plate if UK spec will not hinder the airflow on a 99 spec, Jap plate probably would.
